Well, Kleenex needed is an understatement...it's mandatory...this is a tear jerker. From the very beginning, you feel the pain and loss of Abby O'Malley. Add to just losing her Navy SEAL husband, she is with child. How do you even process the grief, sadness and still feel happy about the gift growing inside your womb?
Teri Riggs stays true to her writing style of taking you on a helluva ride, complete with emotion, suspense, and all kinds of twists and turns.
Don't want to give spoilers, but I will tell you I developed a crush on The Big O. What it The Big O, you ask? Well, my friends...you'll have to read to find out. Proud to give this book a FIVE STAR SALUTE!

This story is definitely emotional, but I had a strong suspicion about the direction the author was going to take, and I was right. The second half did have some unexpected surprises that kept me engaged and curious at the outcome.

I enjoyed the author’s writing and would read more books by her.

Wow! This book was amazing. There were twists and turns everywhere. It was interesting that the first half of the book was from Abby's point of view, and the second half of the book was from Ryan's point of view. I don't often read books about Navy Seals and was amazed how much I loved this book! It was a story of strong love that triumphed everything. I highly recommend it!

As the mom of a sailor I worried every day about my son, even more so when he was on underway.
The worry that Abby feels for Ryan and visa versa is right on point. I wish my son had found aa woman like Abby. Their love is a story for the ages.
The tribute and love shown for John is what Memorial Day is all about.

This story has everything; heart wrenching pain, over the top joy, contentment, love. Be prepared and have a lot of tissues around. This is not your typical Navy SEAL story. The tribulations that Ryan and Abby go through could destroy, but somehow they have the strength to get beyond. Loved it.

You would like to think that this couldn't happen in today's world but stranger things have happened. Then dealing with the emotions and lines of
command and problems this would create. provide the backdrop for this story. And interesting twist to a good love story.

This started out as an intriguing story. I'm about halfway through and, so far, the SEAL team commander has neem named Commander Whiteside, Commander Whitman, and Commander Whitlock. Same guy! That's just plain SLOPPY work for someone who wants to call herself a writer. At the very least, she needs to hire a good proofreader, or, better yet, a good editor. I also intensely dislike the total flush-left format. I'm tired of having to backtrack to double-check who is speaking. A two-space indent isn't going to cost anyone and will make it easier for those who decide to read Ms. Riggs' books. I won't be one of them.
