37 Simply Adorable Christmas Cat Designs – printed on both sides of the page
This is one of the cutest coloring books I own. It also combines two of the types of designs I really enjoy – Christmas and cats. The artist has a fun sense of humor and a good imagination. The cats are put into so many funny scenes, it makes me laugh just looking at the drawings.The designs are detailed but not too intricate. There are many, many cats (though I think a million is rounding up quite a bit!) The scenes are both winter and Christmas. There is a cat ice fishing with polar bears, cats sledding, riding reindeer, gathered around (and even in) a fire place, cat snow globes, cat mandalas, cats decorating and as decorations, cats caroling – you get the picture – the list goes on and on. Glue Binding
Many designs merge into the binding area (on my copy, the pages line up well.)
I can open the book fairly flat for coloring by breaking the spine.
Alcohol-based markers bleed through this paper
Water-based markers bleed through in spots
Gel pens and India ink pens do not bleed through the page. India ink can leave shadows on the back of the back if I apply multiple coats or apply ink heavily
Colored pencils work well with this paper. I was able to get good color and to get deeper pigment by layering the same color. I found that I could layer multiple colors and blend easily using a pencil style blending stick. This was the case with both oil and wax-based pencils.

I can not even begin to tell you how adorable this book is

I can not even begin to tell you how adorable this book is. I have had delivery after delivery of disappointing coloring books. Out of the hundreds that I have - this is now in my top 5 of books I call my favorite. It is a glue bound book, with med. thick pages. There are images on both sides of the pages. There is a mixture of white and black backgrounds. The cats are SO cute - and each pages is completely different from the next (unless its a 2 page spread). I normally do not leave reviews for coloring books since I buy so many - but this one is just so so great! I love it! I have a few other of the "A Million...." coloring books - and they are def cute as well. But you take cats and winter time - you get a winning combination. I would buy this book "a million" times over!
