I have a double pillow top queen mattress and this blanket falls short on each side of my mattress. I ordered the natural color and the color i received is more of a white/ivory than a tan/beige which is what I was expecting to receive. This blanket could be a bit softer but is heavy and feels like a quality blanket. I'm giving this 4 stars since I feel like this is a high quality item but I do think the price is a bit high. I am satisfied with my purchase but would caution any of you who have a double pillow top mattress to order a queen. I suggest giving the king size a try.

I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. It is beautiful, much heavier than I ever could have imagined, and the brown is a lovely dark chocolate color. You never see organic bedding or fabrics at such an economical price. And to get something not only at this fantastic price, but also of such high quality, is astounding. I am going to buy several more of these for layering on very cold nights. The one is already replacing my quilt, so it is very warm. However, having extras on-hand to layer will be ideal. I should have provided a really bad rating, so I could buy up the entire stock of these bad boys. The best woven blanket I've ever had. One note of caution, however. Be careful not to get anything sharp, such as dog toenails hooked in the blanket. On the first night I had this blanket, I discovered my terrier was chewing the top of the blanket and almost had a heart attack. Much to my surprise, when I got his little jaw off of it, it had withstood the chomping session. There was only one small pull in the weave. Otherwise, I've had no problem with this purchase.

The border at the top is a nice size, and the blanket body is soft and perfectly drap-y. To me the price was fair for an Organic blanket, for peace of mind in knowing the bedding we wrap around ourselves, or in my case my children, for 8 hours at a time is free of chemical residues and herbicides lingering in the fabric. I love this blanket. I've been looking for a dark brown blanket that isn't too heavy or too light and has sturdy construction. The only ones I've been able to find were light and did not maintain their shape. For some reason I don't get, it's very hard to find a brown blanket. Until I found Magnolia Organics. The color is perfect and the construction is very sturdy. That said, the blanket is very comfortable and the weight is just right. I have ordered about six different blankets from amazon to replace the ones we had on our couch. We have cocker spaniels on our couches and I keep them covered for everyday use. The other blankets are fine for beds and such but not everyday wear and tear by humans and dogs. These are great. Great size. Wash great. Match the couch great. Not too heavy but heavy enough. On a bed these would last a lifetime I’m sure. They would also be a little heavier. Not too much but just a tad. No holes for breathing. It is tightly knitted. Which is what I wanted so the dogs don’t tear it up by accident.

I ordered this hoping it would be warm, soft and with no chemical odor since it is made from organic cotton. When I first opened it, the blanket was heavy and seemed like it would be fairly warm and the color was very nice. However, after taking it out, I found it is not soft, but rather stiff and scratchy and it has a slight odor (I assume from the dye used as I bought the blue color). In the end I returned it. The price is too high and the quality is just not there to justify spending $60 on this blanket.
