REALISTIC SIZEThe wheel’s rim is 11 inches / 28 cm in diameter: this ensures complete versatility, making the TMX PRO great for all racing game styles. Experience the thrills of different types of race tracks and circuits — intense F1 and Rally racing, and every kind of four-wheeled fun in between. |
900° WHEEL ROTATIONThe wheel can make up to 2.5 rotations, for an unprecedented level of control at every turn. The wide-ranging rotation angle offered by the TMX PRO (from 270° to 900°) lets all virtual drivers be as precise as possible, in any type of race. |
100% METAL SEQUENTIAL PADDLE SHIFTERSThe TMX PRO features large sequential paddle shifters, crafted entirely of metal. Similar to the paddle shifters found in very high-performance cars, their ergonomic design allows for excellent handling — with smooth and distinct gear shifting. |

HIGH-PERFORMANCE FORCE FEEDBACKThe Force Feedback incorporated into the T150 PRO (PS4/PC) and TMX PRO (Xbox One/PC) racing wheels is very adaptable, with a variety of power adjustment options. This highly-responsive Force Feedback on the wheel lets virtual drivers maneuver with all the precision they need to constantly improve their performance in games. |
SILENT BELT-PULLEY SYSTEMThe belt-pulley Force Feedback system unique to the T150 PRO (PS4/PC) and the TMX PRO (Xbox One/PC) represents the ultimate advantage provided by Thrustmaster racing wheels. This system allows for channeling of sounds from the motor, while providing a feeling of smoothness — for intuitive control of Force Feedback power.. |
TH8A-COMPATIBLEThe T150 PRO (PS4/PC) and TMX PRO (Xbox One/PC) racing wheels are compatible with the TH8A, Thrustmaster’s 100% metal shifter (sold separately). The TH8A features a design inspired by the real-world automotive industry (with a detachable shift knob), and allows for two different shifting styles: H-pattern (7+1) or sequential (+/-). |

I did a decent amount of research via online videos and then reading a review from another person. For an average guy sitting at home, there are pedals for in excess of $1,000, easily. I also learned that a person can become a better driver whether they are using these items, or a multi-thousand dollar set-up.
I bought this for my PC, a Dell running Windows 10, fully updated. Follow the installation instructions.
I have only used this for iRacing, which I subscribed to because it was onsale (nice!)
It was so easy to get this up and running on my PC, and the wheel feels awesome, and the force feedback is great.
The pedals are awesome. I own a standard auto, but my car is a not a racecar, therefore this is exciting & new to be free to test out different cars and with different transmission setups to where I don't need the clutch, but it is there when I want to use it.
This wheel is easy to connect to a table. The pedals are awesome silver colored and feel great. I was thinking about spending more but my research found that this is plenty for an average guy. I would be happy to buy this again.
I owned a system similar to this long, long ago but it did not have force feedback. The FF on this is very enjoyable and truly does cause the same emotional issues that someone would feel as if they were really in a vehicle that is doing more than 100MPH around a corner in a race car. It is awesome to feel the surge in energy but when it is over, you calm slightly and realize that, yes, I am sitting at home in a comfortable chair with the flatscreen to my left playing whatever, because once you get behind the wheel of a race car and this wheel/pedal system, you have to pay attention, and this wheel keeps your attention.
The rubber part of the rim at your 9 & 3 O'Clock positions, feels superb on the hands. The top and bottom is plastic, but for this price it doesn't matter because everything else is just wonderful. Next time I am at the store I may get a set of inexpensive gloves to wear to try to get better racing times, but I do like the rubber parts of the rim.
The joy stick I was using is the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. It works but for iRacing, I now believe that a wheel is the way to go. This system makes it a lot easier to drive than the stick. And this system for $250 is a good deal for the price. The none-pro set for $50 less has only two pedals. And the pedals sold separately are a lot for than the $50 extra dollars.I would pend the extra money again to make sure that I got the three-pedal system that is with this.
A 1st time subscriber to iRacing got me a big discount, so I took it. I have come to enjoy watching races and now I am off to drive myself. After using this wheel and pedals, I know I have a system good enough, if I could drive. I am not good at driving in real life, but I learned long ago that PC driving can increase driving skills. For example, I drove a monster truck simulation way back. A friend had an old Ford pickup with pretty big tires on it. Because I had experience driving trucks with large tires, I was able to easily out drive another friend that was with us when we took the truck off road.
Yes, that's right. Those two did not realize the power of my PC back then and its ability to prepare me for a real world situation. That old monster truck simulation did help me a lot. I knew what I was doing. This wheel is going to pay for itself by making me a safer driver. If you don't want to spend too much, but have a great time, then buy this wheel.

The wheel clamp is again the same as the lower priced 458 Spider. It works like it should - nothing else to say. When connected to the XBox the wheel does it's calibration thing and is recognized without issue by the console. It does not show up under "Devices" in the XBox settings menu but functions properly regardless. Force feedback is quite strong and defaults to 100 in Forza. I turned this down to 75 and it's much more manageable for me. Not sure how the FFB compares to a TX, but I assume it's similar. I believe the TX has a fan but I haven't seen nor heard one on the TMX. I've also read that the TX has a "sensitivity" setting; the TMX does not. Rotation defaulted to 540 in Forza and I played around with this, from 180 to 900. The wheel responded as expected, and I left it at 540 because it felt right for me. I haven't played long enough yet to notice any issues like the "pull left" problem that TX owners report in Forza. I also tried both Simulation and Normal steering settings in Forza and the wheel definitely performs better under the Normal settings.
Overall, at this early stage, I'm impressed and pleased. The wheel feels good in my hands, the shifters provide a good "click" and the pedals are adequate. The entire wheel assembly feels solid, not "toy-like" as per the 458 Spider. The price ($269CDN) hits the sweet spot for me because I couldn't spend $500 or more on a wheel. I've also just upgraded to the Thrusmaster T3PA pedals which are a huge improvement over the stock pedals that come with the TMX, but that's for another review. Thrustmaster definitely put money into the wheel, not the pedals.
I highly recommend this wheel. At this price it can't be beat.
