This is an Access point not a wireless router. You can program up to 4 separate wifi networks out of one wireless Access Point. This gets plugged into your router. Hope this helps you.

Yes, but it would be best to have the Trendnet help desk (phone # in documentation) assist you in the set up, which is as yet manual for Mac. It's not hard and my phone experience was positive. After that no further issues,works well. CV
No..any wireless device that is wireless N will work and also backwards compatible to G...this also works great as just a WAP connected to a wired router
