Fantastic series

Love intensifies and reflects as a culture decaying

Parental warning wish I knew before kindle purchase it gets intense ok not intense as open but I was really hoping they wait then I realized a learned behavior horrid let's say from this manga volume i realized our society is messed up due to to culture not holding on traditional thinking of marriage first then procreation i hope asuka not end up with std. Another thing is I understand that this is something they used to in a relationship but I don't think they know each other favorite color and now if something happen an they break up it might get as bad of suicide. I hope they marry. another frustrating thing is and should and me included- person needs to be more self preserving of themselves in a releationship. What i mean is when someone in releationship they need to keep in mind that they are making sure this is the right person to be married to. Truly understand how the person is even to what kind of toilet paper prefer with out living together with each other. that way you truly know if the person you are with is really a good person or just want someone as a conveyance and then the other person ends up being just a number not actually in a relationship. I heard and observed others in the releationships. Because of others doing these things youth end up thinking this book for example a reflection of decaying culture of reason. shows that instead of enjoying being in a relationship like little kids having fun together and the person is a best friend leading to a stronger bond resulting in marriage. It never should be about act of procreating. The person not the only hurts in relationship the true victim that brings me to tears is the kids of relationships that are like asuka and ryu. What would happen to the kid if she gets pregnant, would he or she have the love they deserve or life at all. I am heart broken

Enjoyable love story with realistic modern conflicts

Everyone’s Getting Married is my favorite current manga romance, because it’s entertaining for me to see love among adults instead of schoolmates. It’s a cliche’ for the woman to want to get married before the man does, but I still like seeing Asuka and Nanami fall in love in spite of their different opinions on their eventual future.

In Volume 2, Asuka admits her feelings for him, telling a friend she’s “going to try to persuade him to see things [her] way.” It’s not a smart approach, but it’s understandable and affecting to read about. Many people have had reason to struggle with the conflict between love and their own opinions, whether they differ on religion or politics or simply whether or when to get married.

There’s also the struggle to coordinate the schedules of two busy working people, particularly when one of them is a TV newscaster. That makes the moments they seize together all the more poignant and passionate. In chapters here, he’s preparing to host a major music festival and working on getting the timing just right, when he’s not in demand for any number of other jobs. That’s a fun distraction, looking at how the media business works in Japan.

I like this series because I like the characters, and I’m rooting for them to work things out so they can be together long-term. I also like that there’s more to their lives than just their feelings for each other. (Review originally posted at ComicsWorthReading.com.)

I can’t believe how much I’m loving this series so far, and it’s just started.

Asuka and Ryu have started dating, because they love each other even though they want different things in a relationship. In this volume, they’re getting settled into the relationship, and having trouble finding the time for each other. They have some troubles, and Asuka wants to take things a little slower than Ryu does, at first at least.

It’s surprisingly hot, several scenes in this volume. But even during that, they’re sweet together, and I love seeing their relationship grow. I like that we get equal time with each character, and get to see from both of their sides. The humor is nice, and not very exaggerated. It’s realistic, and relatable.

I am quite loving this series, and can’t wait for the next volume.
