I am completely and utterly 100% satisfied. My hammock was great during a 5 day backpacking trip in Arkansas. While I have some minor complaints like the carabiniers which have a sharp edge that catches the rope, what honestly sold me was the customer service. On my hammock, the pouch that came attached began to come off, likely due to some falty sewing material (I believe this was more of a fluke). Anyway, I contacted Matt with customer service and within a few hours I had a reply. He was completely forgot understanding and cooperative. The lifetime warranty was very real, and hassle free. Needed a replacement for son's Grand Trunk Ultralight he had been using for about 4 years at scout camp. We didn't want to spend too much but weren't willing to sacrifice quality. Based on reviews we selected this Golden Eagle, and were not disappointed. Well made, balanced and love the lightweight but strong fabric. We already had the Grand Trunk straps so he used those as they are super easy to use and was setting it up for a week, so he didn't use the included ropes. I prefer straps as they tend not to damage tree bark by distributing any force across a broader area. However the ropes looked as though they would have worked just fine as well. If backpacking, I would definitely use the included ropes to save weight. It was 95+ degrees at scout camp last week, and son spend all his free time in the hammock, and they slept outside in it each night to try to stay cooler. Took off one star because stitches in a few areas were a little loose at the ends, but I don't believe it will impact the wear or quality of the hammock as these are triple stitched. Well worth the price and would recommend. Also, great follow up support from seller. Buy it!

Like another reviewer stated, i ordered a single nest hammock, but the bag says its a double nest rated for 600 lbs. So i'm not sure if it was miss-printed or if i was actually sent a double (with nothing to really compare it to, i feel like it IS pretty big... so either its the double or these things have a ton of room)

So easy to set up and take down - I got this hammock to replace a woven one that only lasted two summers. I'd had enough with spending so much to only get to enjoy it a bit. This hammock will last much longer, in part due to the fact that it's so easy to put up, that I just have ropes hanging from the eye hooks that are at the correct length and when I want to use the hammock, I quick clip the carabiner ends to the ropes and I'm swinging in the breeze! When I'm done, I unclip one side, clip it to the other carabiner and stuff the hammock back in the sack (I leave the 'biners out of the sack - there's some sharpness that I'd rather keep out of the sack, plus I can clip it to stuff if I need to). When I'm away from home, I just take out my trusty tree straps (also Golden Eagle) and in just a few seconds longer, I'm swinging in the breeze in the woods. :)
Love it. It's not big enough to share comfortably, but my hubby and I did pile into it once at a state park... it made for a cozy rest - we managed. :)

Construction is typical of off brand hammocks with some fraying. I would not expect the fabric to be as durable as some other of the top brands. Length is shorter than is really comfortable for anyone over 5'10. Would not recommend.
