I ordered this bag before a month-long trip to Europe and was very pleased by its functionality and comfort. It covered a lot of miles and many cities. I especially appreciated the locking zippers on two of the larger pockets and the tamper proof crossbody strap- this gave me peace of mind in some of more congested cities known for pickpocketing. It was durable and cleaned up nicely after some brushes with rough terrain. The multiple compartments made it easy to keep all of my things organized. It even fit my Canon 7D on days I didn't want to carry all of the camera accessories. One of the highlights is the outside water bottle pocket. It held a liter bottle comfortably. It's unisex look made it practical for each member of the family. After one month, it looks like new.

I like it. It seems to be well constructed with good closures. I am very pleased with the security features, especially the RFID and anti cutting strap. Not too heavy for the size and nice compartment to store various sized and shaped items.
This bag is shaped to be worn most efficiently with the strap on the opposite side of the head from the bag for security purposes. The bag can then be under your arm or slightly in front of the arm or centered. The height adjustment is liberal enough so that individuals of various height will be comfortable with whatever length feels best to them.
To me this bag will carry my passport, drivers license, cash, credit cards,meds, iPad and phone. There will be room to carry my noise canceling headphones when going on a flight along with the usual power pack, chargers and cables.
I wear this personal item bag along with a authorized carry on sized pack. This to me is perfect so that my hands are free all the time in case something happens. No need to dig around when at my assigned seat delaying other passengers and myself. If the overhead is filled the pack goes under the seat in front and I still have my needed stuff in this bag.

I have an upcoming trip to Europe. I love the Travelon bag I already have from a trip five years ago. I use it daily, but wanted something that would hold a water bottle. I have actually purchased and returned a lot of bags from Travelon and Baggallini in my quest for the perfect day bag. This bag is it. It's RFID protected, slash proof and the material is light weight. It has a compartment on the side that lays against your body for the really important stuff. Travelon's Heritage line is made of a heavier material, so I had to return one of those.

I bought this bag for a trip to Italy and Greece after having purchased and returned several that just didn't seem to be as travel friendly as they were advertised to be. This bag was excellent! It held everything I needed for each days itinerary. The side pocket holds a nice sized water bottle. There in a zippered pocket on the inside/next to your body which felt secure next to me and was excellent for items I wanted to reach for frequently like my phone that I used for its camera function or my small travel camera as I carried both. The interior looks small but if you're an efficient organizer, can really carry quite a bit. I had my reading book, a small first aide/medicine pack, charger/adaptor, wallet/money/IDs, misc stuff like tissues, etc... I loved the secured zipper feature and did not find them difficult at all to latch or unlatch. The bag with its RFID blocker, latching zippers and no-cut shoulder strap gave me peace of mind in the crowded streets. It wasn't bulky, it never felt heavy, and I now use it at home for my daily purse because I enjoyed it so much. Highly recommended purchase.

I bought this bag for a trip to Europe, it worked great. The bag strap is wide, so it is comfortable on the shoulder, and long enough to adjust to be longer for a cross-body strap, so i felt it was very secure from pick-pockets, etc. The material is durable and lots of zippers and internal pockets so it felt more secure to put money in double zipped pockets.

It has a little flash light...kind of nice idea.

Its not too big, and not too small...just right size. I like the extra pocket for a water bottle or can I put sunglasses in it.....

Exterior is kind of plain, and stands out more as a 'tourist'....but practicality overshadows that.... It seems very well made, and fabric went through rain and international flights - and still looks new....so I think this is a perfect travel purse/bag.....It will be my go-to travel purse for future trips.

I am also a pilot, so i can see using this bag for flying too....water bottle pocket is great.

This is the second bag we have had from Travelon, the first for my wife was a handbag. The security features of these bags is what we wanted after some friends were robbed on the Rome underground, apparently quite common in Italy. The bags are well made and appear to be well thought out for their anti theft features, with anti slash and cut, catches on the zips and RFID blocking. They are a bit expensive and the cost of delivery is high as they come from the US but worth the extra security they offer. You will never beat these thieves but you can make life more difficult for them.
