A few days ago I purchased You are the Artist. I've never been one for self-help books. I had a boyfriend in NYC that owned 100s of them and he was a mess so I figured they were a waste of time and money. But I bought it because I was interested in what YOU had to say. Your artistry as a singer always intrigued me so I figured your writing would as well. The first few days I read slowly thinking carefully about the questions you posed,etc. but as I began to see more and more of myself in your words, I just had to read as quickly as possible to get an overview. I will go back and "work" through the book but I had to devour it at first. We certainly are different people who have had different upbringings and a different career, but there is so much you write about the I recognize so clearly. Thanks for sharing in the way you did.
