From an early age, I could be found reading. I read anywhere. I even got in trouble for trying to read a novel during church (God created books so I still don't understand the problem). I love reading so much that writing was a natural progression for me. I can still be found reading...when I'm not writing. Though, not in church anymore.

Imagine if you mixed Beyoncé and China Anne McClain. That’s the star of this novel. Blend LeBron James and your favorite Black football star and that’s our hero. This book is a fantastic exploration of family, celebrity, and love. This story is romantic and engaging! There’s only one sex scene. Honestly all the passion and drama is enough and I love that our heroine is given space to process her complex feelings. Our hero is not the borderline abusive stereotypical alpha that’s been so popular in many novels. He’s a thoughtful, accomplished, family man. Excellent read and I hope to read more from this author.

I really enjoyed this sweet slow burn story from a new to me author. I appreciated following both Autumn and BJ. Can't wait to read more about the sisters.

I love me some Baahir and Autumn! Being a wife in a blended family, I appreciate how BJ shows that there are men who will unconditionally love a child regardless of biology. I know because I married one. Autumn deserved the unconditional and fierce love that BJ had for her. Thank you for showing that all black men don't run from the responsibility of being a father!

This was a decent enough book. There was some disconnect throughout the book, no real flow that caught me as a reader. Also, the author either needs an editor or a new one, but I’d read another book by K. Sadee’.

This was so cute. I found myself smiling a few times while reading this, which is always a good thing. I love Autumn's and Baahir's chemistry. They seemed real. Eff CA$H and Baahir is bae.

This is my first read by this author. This was a good read in spite of all of the editing issues. I feel like there was more focus on Autumn than BJ and Autumn. There were also too many characters to keep up with. Overall, it was a good story.

I loved, loved this book. I cannot wait until book 2. BJ was a real man with real feelings. The family love in this book was awesome. BJ was the real MVP.

Potentially good plot but unnecessary sex scenes and foul language! I find this is an issue with a lot of African American romance writers and I wish they wouldn't ruin a romance story with so much graphic sexual content.
