AI-generated from the text of customer reviews
Customers have mixed opinions about the quality of the water pump. Some mention that it works great, while others say that it has faulty parts and stops working after a short time.
"...The pump works great and keeps up even with my 5 kids and my wife and I taking showers and running the laundry everyday." Read more
"...to the letter - any deviation will be punished by leaks and poor operation. The box arrived badly dented and the plastic foot was bent badly...." Read more

"Works like a champ. Hooked it up to sprinkler system and now getting water to all of my yard...." Read more
Customers are mixed about the water pressure of the water pump. Some mention that it is good, maintains its rated pressure, and does not cycle on and off constantly. They also like that they now have consistent water pressure while taking a shower, and the household piping will accept this pressure boost. However, others say that it does not produce enough pressure, is noisy, and stopped working after a year.
"...the valve closed when the pump sucks so air is drawn in and stops the pump action (goes into "failure" mode)...." Read more
"...The pressure regulators also helped to stabilize the pressure so its not fluctuating based upon the city pressure any more...." Read more
"...Now, a little over a year later the pump will not boost the incoming water pressure. The pump is still under warranty...." Read more
"...is opened. Great pressure! The fittings are 1" NPT...." Read more
Customers are mixed about the value of the water pump. Some mention it's good value for the price, while others say it'll get a little pricey using a plumber. Some customers also mention that the assembly was more like a cheap quality loctite.
"...Overall: excellent value for money, hoping for a long life" Read more
"...The price is high here. This was previously sold at menards for less than $250...." Read more
"...Positive: works as promised, decent price, provides the pressure, pressurizes quick, runs for a short period after the faucet is closed, on the..." Read more
"...Good value and great product. Would highly recommend to anyone needing to create water pressure." Read more
Customers are mixed about the ease of installation of the water pump. Some mention it's easy to install, while others say it can be tricky, the instructions are horrible, and the assembly is bad.
"...Install was simple." Read more
"...Unfortunately, the instruction paper is not very detailed in the specks and requirements...." Read more
"...The pump was easy to install, directions could cover more applications for use, I am using it to water my lawn, wash vehicles, and water plants...." Read more
"...It provides a lot of psi for being such a small pump. It was easy to set up and use...." Read more
Customers are mixed about the shut off of the water pump. Some mention that it runs for a short period after the faucet is closed, while others say that it never shuts off. The motor runs cool and lasts long. However, some customers report that the pump produces good pressure, but would not shut off even when the pressure was high.
"...The pump works great and keeps up even with my 5 kids and my wife and I taking showers and running the laundry everyday." Read more
"...Pump kept failing to shut off. Relocated it in line just after my well pump and it's been off to the races. Install was simple." Read more
"...decent price, provides the pressure, pressurizes quick, runs for a short period after the faucet is closed, on the small side...." Read more
"...At times it shuts off at much higher than 100 psi. I have a gauge that I used to adjust the pressure regulator down...." Read more
Customers are dissatisfied with the noise produced by the water pump. They mention that it makes a squealing sound when it turns on, and the pipes rattling and whining when the water is being run. Some say that the pump would not operate and just hummed.
"...105 psi was like showering with a pressure washer and the pipes were rattling and whining when the water was being run...." Read more
"...Drawbacks: Loud, no adjustments for when (what PSI) the pump kicks on, probably would benefit from a flow switch as well for a slower smoother ramp..." Read more
"...Now the pump itself is quite loud and sounds like it's grinding up rocks. I have it installed downstairs and can hear it clearly upstairs...." Read more
"...My shower now feels like a "hotel" shower. It's also quieter than my previous pump...." Read more
Customers are dissatisfied with the sturdiness of the water pump. They mention that it is very weak, poorly made, and broke after only 10 months of use. Some say that the product is defective and not repairable. They also mention that the flange is crusty and deteriorating, and that it only lasts a couple of years.
"...I purchased this product in May 2022, and it broke after only 10 months of use...." Read more
"...one unacceptable thing about the pump is the footing/base. its very unstable...." Read more
"...to remove to dissemble, royal pain in the ass, bad assembly, bad quality control...." Read more
"...As shown on the photo the flange is crusty and deteriorating." Read more
Customers are dissatisfied with the leakage of the water pump. They mention that it started leaking all over, the priming inlet cap, the motor has a coil leak, and the factory fitting connections leak. The main seal blew and small drips puddle up, making the floor wet.
"...As others said, it's easy to get the joints leaking like a sieve...." Read more
"Pump was fine until the main seal blew, the phone numbers for the customer service does not work, so I am not sure how I can get warranty service...." Read more

The fittings are 1" NPT. If you use it in the set-up where no water is bypassed or recirculated, I recommend getting a 1" NPT plug fitting to replace the priming port fitting (it does leak easily). The manual says you need 3'-5' of 1" pipe after the pump. I tried it with and without the extra pipe, it will work just fine. I had a 25' hose and the pump detected the pressure drop and kicked on.

You need to follow the instructions to the letter - any deviation will be punished by leaks and poor operation.
The box arrived badly dented and the plastic foot was bent badly. This was due to the screw being bent in transit. A quick trip to the hardware store for a suitable metric screw solved that one.
As others said, it's easy to get the joints leaking like a sieve. The top connection (outlet) required both plumbing paste and teflon tape - a very thin layer of paste on both male and female thread and then wind on teflon tape to the male, screw it in until it's hand tight, then apply an extra turn with a big wrench. The threads on the pump are metal and very sharp so its easy to cross-thread the plastic coupler and once that happens you're best off getting a new plastic part and starting again.
Other issues were not specifically pump problems but due to the application. Since I'm using greywater there MUST be a filter on the suction side to prevent lint, hairs and grit getting into the pump. I used a 20micron Culligan filter unit. The filter has a bleed valve on the top which you push to let air out of the system. The spring on this is not strong enough to keep the valve closed when the pump sucks so air is drawn in and stops the pump action (goes into "failure" mode). Solved this by tightening down the bleed valve assembly screw to seal the intake. Then installed a drain cock in the high point of the suction side to be able to bleed the air out and prime the pump. See the photographs.
The water source is a 130 gal tank on the same level as the pump so that provides a tiny bit of input pressure (~10" water only).
The pump sucks from the tank and boosts pressure to 80 psi (static) and 40-60 psi when the irrigation rubs. It cycles about every 60 mins or so until I find the leak in the irrigation system that's letting the pressure drop!
Overall: excellent value for money, hoping for a long life

Le contrôleur garde la pression entre 55 et 65 lbs et la pompe ne démarre pas si il y a pas assez d’eau à l’entrée plus de soucis de brûler la pompe.
If someoycoukd look into that and get back to me would be appreciated
Completely satisfied.
