Step 1 - Connecting to Movies Anywhere

1. What is Movies Anywhere?
Movies Anywhere is an app and website that lets you sync your purchased movies across participating Digital Retailers, including Amazon. By connecting your Amazon account to Movies Anywhere, all your eligible movies purchased from other Movie Anywhere Digital Retailers to which you’ve connected your Movies Anywhere account become available to watch on Prime Video. 2. What is the difference between Prime Video and Movies Anywhere?
With Prime Video, you can access Prime Video, subscribe to Amazon Channels, and buy or rent movies and TV shows. All of this content is available to watch instantly from https://www.amazon.com, FireTV and through the Prime Video app on FireOS, iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, and many other streaming media players and connected TVs.
3. How do I create a Movies Anywhere account?
Sign up for Movies Anywhere on your computer (PC or Mac) through http://www.MoviesAnywhere.com or download and sign up through the free Movies Anywhere app for compatible devices from the Amazon App Store. Once created, you will need to connect your Movies Anywhere account to your Amazon account to sync your accounts.
4. How do I connect my Amazon account to my Movies Anywhere account?
To connect your Prime Video account to your Movies Anywhere account, proceed as follows. 1. Click the Start Now button at the top of this page. 2. Sign in to your Movies Anywhere account and go to Settings 3. Select “Manage Retailers” 4. Select “Amazon” 5. You will be guided to Amazon.com to complete the process. Follow all on-screen instructions to connect your accounts. 6. Return to Movies Anywhere and go to “Manage retailers” in your Settings to confirm that your accounts are connected.
5. What information will Amazon share with Movies Anywhere?
Prime Video will provide Movies Anywhere the following information once you connect your accounts: (1) your email address and (2) information about your eligible purchased content. Movies Anywhere will use and share the information about your eligible purchased content with other Movies Anywhere retailers in accordance with the Movies Anywhere Privacy Policy.
6. Can I connect more than one Amazon account to my Movies Anywhere account at a time?
No. You can only connect one Amazon account to your Movies Anywhere account at a time. You are also limited by how often you can change the Amazon account connected to your Movies Anywhere account– you are able to change the Amazon account that is connected to Movies Anywhere only once during any 180 day period. To change to a different Amazon account, proceed as follow: 1. Sign in to your Movies Anywhere account and go to Settings 2. Select “Manage Retailers” 3. Select “Amazon Video” to disconnect the current Amazon account 4. Once disconnected - and after the 180 day period, complete Steps 1 and 2 above, choose “Amazon Video” again and follow the prompts to connect to a new Amazon Video account If you experience any difficulties connecting your Amazon and Movies Anywhere accounts, please visit https://help.MoviesAnywhere.com for information and assistance.
7. What if I don’t have an Amazon account or have forgotten my Amazon account password?
If you do not have an Amazon account, you can choose to sign up for a new Amazon account when you are asked to enter your Amazon login credentials. If you have forgotten your password details you can choose 'Forgotten Your Password?' to get an email reminder of how you can reset your password. You can also talk to the Prime Video customer support team by clicking the 'Contact Us' button on the right side of any Help page (http://www.amazon.com/help) and choosing either the "Phone", "Email", or "Chat" option.
If you have forgotten your Movies Anywhere account password, you can choose ‘Forgot Password” on the sign in form. You may also visit https://help.MoviesAnywhere.com for information and assistance.
8. Will my Disney Movies Anywhere movies transfer to Movies Anywhere?
When you sign up for Movies Anywhere, if you use the same email address as your Disney Movies Anywhere account you will be asked if you would like to transfer the movies in your Disney Movies Anywhere Collection to Movies Anywhere. If you agree, all of your Disney Movies Anywhere movies will transfer to your Movies Anywhere Library automatically. If you are unsure what email address you used for your Disney Movies Anywhere account, please visit https://help.MoviesAnywhere.com for information and assistance.

Step 2 - Discovering and purchasing Movies Anywhere eligible titles

1. What Disney movies are eligible for Movies Anywhere?
Movies Anywhere currently supports select titles from 20th Century Fox, Sony Pictures, Universal Pictures, The Walt Disney Studios, and Warner Bros. Pictures. You can enter the movie title in the search bar in the Movies Anywhere app or website to find out if it’s Movies Anywhere eligible. Check back regularly as Movies Anywhere’s catalog of eligible movies and list of participating studios changes.
2. If I purchased a Movies Anywhere eligible movie through another participating retailer service, can I watch it on Prime Video?
Yes, so long as both your Amazon account and other retailer account are connected to Movies Anywhere, you can watch the movie on Prime Video.
3. How do I purchase a Movies Anywhere title on Amazon?
You can find Movies Anywhere titles here: https://www.amazon.com/MoviesAnywhereTitles This list may not be comprehensive of all movies eligible for Movies Anywhere.
4. I connected my Amazon account to Movies Anywhere and then I purchased a Movies Anywhere eligible title on Amazon– how do I sync my purchase to my Movies Anywhere collection?
You do not need to do anything. Your Movies Anywhere eligible purchases will be synced automatically once your accounts are connected. Your Movies Anywhere eligible movie will be automatically added to your Prime Video library, Movies Anywhere Library and any other retailer account connected to your Movies Anywhere account. 5. There are two versions of the Movies Anywhere eligible title on Prime Video that I want to purchase – do they both sync with Movies Anywhere?
Yes, we sometimes have two versions on Prime Video – one with bonus content and another without. On Prime Video, if you purchase either version of the title you will get access to the movie (with bonus content if available) on Movies Anywhere, and any of the other Movies Anywhere participating retailers that you have also connected to your Movies Anywhere account.

Step 3 - Watching Movies Anywhere-eligible titles

1. I’ve connected my Movies Anywhere account with my Prime Video account – where can I watch my Movies Anywhere eligible titles?
You can find your Movies Anywhere eligible titles in Your Video Library on Prime Video and you can watch on the Prime Video website, through FireTV, or any other any Prime Video apps.
2. I’m located outside of the United States – Can I watch my Movies Anywhere eligible movies on Prime Video?
Currently, you can only stream and download eligible movies through Prime Video within the U.S. and its territories and possessions.

Step 4 - Requesting Refunds and Disconnecting from Movies Anywhere

1. I purchased a Movies Anywhere title from Prime Video – how do I get a refund?
If you have not watched any of the Movies Anywhere eligible title, and you purchased the movie less than 24 hours ago from Prime Video, you can cancel your purchase on the Digital Orders page, or on the detail page of the title you want to cancel on the Amazon website.
If you have not watched any of the Movies Anywhere eligible title and it’s been over 24 hours since your purchase on Prime Video, you can get a refund through the Prime Video Customer support team by either clicking the "Contact Us" button on the right side of any Help page (http://www.amazon.com/help) and choosing either the "Phone", "Email", or "Chat" option.
Please note that after you cancel your purchase you will no longer be able to watch the title on Amazon, Movies Anywhere or any other Movies Anywhere participating retailer.
2. I purchased a Movies Anywhere title from another Movies Anywhere participating retailer – can I cancel that purchase on Amazon?
No. You can only cancel your purchase with the provider you bought it from.
3. I don’t remember where I originally bought my Movies Anywhere eligible movie from – how do I get a refund?
To determine the retailer from which you purchased a specific Movies Anywhere eligible title, go to https://www.MoviesAnywhere.com > Settings > Transaction History to find the title. Alternatively, please visit https://help.MoviesAnywhere.com for information and assistance. Movies Anywhere does not sell movies directly, so a Movies Anywhere representative will not be able to award a refund for your purchases of Movies Anywhere eligible movies, but they can help direct you on next steps to take in order to request a refund from your retailer.
4. How do I disconnect my Amazon account from Movies Anywhere?
Go to http://www.amazon.com, go to Your Account, and then go to the ‘Login with Amazon’ page. You can disconnect from Movies Anywhere by clicking the ‘revoke’ button next to the Movies Anywhere entry. Alternatively, you can visit the Movies Anywhere website or app and disconnect your accounts by selecting Settings, then Manage Accounts.
5. After I’ve disconnected my Amazon account from Movies Anywhere, do the movies that previously came into my Prime Video Library from Movies Anywhere stay in my Prime Video Library?
Yes. After disconnecting your Amazon account from Movies Anywhere, all movies you previously purchased from Prime Video, and all movies that previously came into Your Video Library from Movies Anywhere (including any movies purchased from connected third party Movies Anywhere participating retailers), will remain in Your Video Library.
Going forward, however, any Movies Anywhere eligible movies you purchase on any other Movies Anywhere participating retailer will no longer appear in Your Video Library, and any Movies Anywhere-eligible movies you purchase from Prime Video will no longer sync with Movies Anywhere.
