The swell 17 oz. teakwood bottle has a hand painted teakwood grain exterior with a smooth matte finish. No two are the same and for every bottle sold, swell will plant one tree through the American forests foundation. Swell produces the premier fashionable and reusable water bottle, which is beautifully crafted and composed of non-leaching and non-toxic 18/8 stainless steel, that keeps your drinks cold for 24 hours and hot for 12. The tight sealing cap will not leak and even traps in carbonation. Over 60 million plastic water bottles are used every day in the us. I purchased 11 S'well water bottles (combination of 9 oz and 17 oz) at a retail store yesterday, 10 for client gifts and one for myself. I had such high hopes after reading all the great reviews. Within 30 minutes after filling with ice water, the bottle was covered in condensation. A couple hours later, the ice had melted. I am SO disappointed. The bottles are very pretty and the charity aspect is great. However, I can't carry this in my purse next to my phone or other things of value. What a waste of money.

I plan to order the large size for longer day trips. If you buy this you won't have to buy 10 less expensive bottles trying to find the "right" one.
