About the author
J. Kenner (aka Julie Kenner) is the New York Times, USA Today, Publishers Weekly, Wall Street Journal and #1 International bestselling author of over seventy novels, novellas and short stories in a variety of genres.
Though known primarily for her award-winning and internationally bestselling romances (including the Stark and Most Wanted series) that have reached as high as #2 on the New York Times bestseller list and #1 internationally, JK has been writing full time for over a decade in a variety of genres including paranormal and contemporary romance, "chicklit" suspense, urban fantasy, and paranormal mommy lit.
JK has been praised by Publishers Weekly as an author with a "flair for dialogue and eccentric characterizations" and by RT Bookclub for having "cornered the market on sinfully attractive, dominant antiheroes and the women who swoon for them." A four time finalist for Romance Writers of America's prestigious RITA award, JK took home the first RITA trophy in 2014 for her novel, Claim Me (book 2 of her Stark Trilogy).
In her previous career as an attorney, JK worked as a clerk on the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and practiced primarily civil, entertainment and First Amendment litigation in Los Angeles and Irvine, California, as well as in Austin, Texas. She currently lives in Central Texas, with her husband, two daughters, and two rather spastic cats.

5 amazing stars
I've been following Nikki and Damien Stark since the very beginning and I loved their story. Even when J Kenner created the Stark International series, it still felt like they were around, even if the stories concentrated on other characters. In Entice Me, we get to revisit our original power couple and find out what's been happening to them since we last saw them. It's Damien's birthday and Nikki is at a loss as to what to get the man who has everything.
5 hot and sweaty dreams
J Kenner doesn't disappoint when it comes to her novels - it's full of angst, drama and enough suspense to keep you on the edge of your seat and wanting more. As always, this couple keeps things hot and ever so interesting. I couldn't put it down and I wish I could have kept going even when the last page rolled through. I absolutely love the way J Kenner writes her stories - they draw you in so thoroughly that you'd think you were part of it. I can't wait to see what else she has in store for her readers since I'm certain it'll be a treat worth enjoying more than once.

It's Damien's birthday and Nikki wants to make it a memorable one. But what do you do or get for the man who can have anything he desires? How do you keep a surprise party from the conqueror of secrets? Throw in some blasts from the recent past, a blackmail subplot, add this couple's normal hijinks and you've got yourself a story that is sure to hit your Stark spot.
The only thing missing for me, as I always hope and wish for it, is Damien's POV. I absolutely NEED it!!
This novella was definitely as erotic as I've come to expect from this author and her characters and I'm excited to see what's going to happen next!

Series or standalone: Book 3.11 of the Stark series and I don't suggest reading it without at least reading the first three books of the series
Entice me was sweet, passionate, and as we’ve come to expect from the Stark couple, sexy! Damien and Nikki are still hot as ever. I recommend all the Nikki and Damien lovers out there to pick up a copy of this novella.
If you have not read the trilogy, I would suggest that you start from the beginning to really appreciate and enjoy Entice Me. The Stark series in its entirety is well worth the read!

There were two things that I thought were confusing.
One, is the order in which to read them. There’s the Nikki/Damian, Jamie/Ryan, Sylvia/Jackson, and other individuals books, etc, but how do you know what order to read them in. I first went to J Kenner’s website and took screen shots of all of her romance series books. I read all of Nikki/Damian. After reading all of them, I went to Jamie/Ryan and came to realize that those two books were suppose to go in order with Nikki/Damian. This could be false, but in the start of one of Nikki/Damian books, it talks about Jamie/Ryan’s wedding. So I was confused when I first read that whole series. So after starting the Nikki/Damian Series over again, I took the numbers from Nikki/Damian and Jamie/Ryan and put them in numerical order. I am in the middle of that. I took a pause in half way through the series to see if the Sylvia/Jackson had to somewhat be intertwined like Jamie/Ryan. When reading one book of Nikki/Damian series, it starts talking about Sylvia and Jackson and mentions that Jackson is Damian’s half-brother and I was confused because I never remember reading anything abaout Jackson besides the fact that he turned down Damian when they were away at a resort for the weekend when they were at the buffet. I think where I was confused when was the one book was talking about Valentine’s Day and the scavenger hunt that Damian did for Nikkie. Then, there little romantic get a way for the romantic holiday, running into Jackson and then the next book is Christmas time and Sylvia and Jackson are spending Christmas with them in the mountain house.
Since I am honestly confused, I went to J Kenner’s website and found an option for “contact us”. I sent them an e-mail on March 14th and today is March 24th and I haven’t heard back. They did mention that they get a lot of incoming e-mails so to please be patient, but I didn’t think it would take this long to get a response.
I know this sounds crazy, but I am OCD and was trying to figure all these books out by myself. With the screen shots that I took, I literally used an app that would allow me to write the date all of the books came out on the picture. It did take forever, but it seemed to help a little. Because of that, I found out that the two books of Jamie/Ryan do go in order with the Nikki/Damian series. If you look at the numbers of each book, you can see they go in order. The dates also match up, but you wouldn’t know that if you didn’t create a new picture with the dates they were released.
The second part that I am confused on, is why there are so many books in the Nikki/Damian series. I understand that the main books, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are the main books, which has more in the book, but why can’t she take the odd number between the main books and combine into bigger books. I think the main books were $7.99 or $9.99, but the smaller ones were $2.99. I feel like that was a rip off because there 11 books in the Nikki/Damian series that are smaller books.
I guess if I hear back from the company that they would better help me to understand, but that’s all I can hope for.
I love the way all of the series are written. Nikki/Damian, Jamie/Ryan and Sylvia/Jackson. Most romance series are similar, but have a little bit of difference. I feel like J Kenner’s series have so much sex. I can’t imagine that in real life. I love the fact that there is someone always going after them and then the papparazzi are always after them. As horrible as that would be in real life, these books keep you interested and makes you excited for the next book.
If I do end up hearing back from J Kenner, I will edit my review.
I am a big fan of this series and will never hesitate to pick up a new book about Damien and Nikki because I am never disappointed.
