I enjoyed reading the newest Love Inspired Suspense by Dana Mentink. Abducted is the latest in the Pacific Coast Private Eyes series. Sarah Gallagher is a nurse who is near the end of her medical mission trip. Dominic Jett is a man trying to make it through the hard things that life has thrown at him. Sarah and Jett were sweethearts in high school, but suddenly he jumps back into her life. His return is the beginning of a mostly non-stop journey of finding the truth, love and forgiveness. I knew when I read this in chapter 2, "His nerves were dancing with adrenaline. Fire, smoke, danger, risk. Good times.", that this would book would keep me on the edge of my seat and it did!

I read this series out of order, but that's okay. It really didn't destroy things for me. I enjoyed the first and last book in the series the best. This was a good book, but the other two were better. I don't feel like you got to know the hero as well, but then Marco shows up in all the books, so you get a better picture of him. It's a good, entertaining, clean series. She writes a good mystery and her romantic aspect doesn't feel forced as it does with some other romantic suspense writers. I do get tired of people who don't think they are good enough for someone as we are all flawed, but unfortunately when you are the child of abuse and alcholism, it does leave scars, so the book isn't wrong. I just get tired of people thinking that way.
