Excellent Burger Press. Flawless Burgers are a breeze to make. Use Parchment Paper!
This product works very well. Got this as it was recommended from the YouTube channel HowToBBQRiught. Highly recommend using a sheet of 15" × 7" parchment paper folded in half and placing the meat in between. This makes it very easy to extract the burger after it's moulded and also keeps the device from getting dirty, also makes cleanup a breeze after.

After years of making hand made hamburgers, I decided to try to gain a more professional look. This hamburger press looked easy to operate and a snap to clean up. both are true. The adjustments are easy to understand to make thicker or thinner burgers. A great little tool and now my burgers have nice crisp edges so they are easy to flip on the BBQ without breaking pieces off.

Love everything about it, except cleaning. If you use parchment paper it wouldn't be an issue, but just doing the patty in the press, the meat gets up under it and you have to take the whole thing apart for cleaning. It isn't hard to take apart, just a bit of a pain. Quality is great. Solid metal, can hang on the wall if you want. I highly recommend this product

Love this hamburger maker. Bought the wax paper from the same company and would recommend because you can easily freeze them.

I have had this for 8 months and really like it, but found that after about 3 months the paint coating on the meat pressers top and bottom started coming off. It doesn't hurt the process since I use the circular wax paper protector on top and bottom of the burger, it just takes away from the look of the machine.
3 stars is for the quality of the paint, although the product seems to be made well, and is sturdy while making the patty, otherwise 5 stars. Don't use it without wax paper protector sheets !

Just tried the Weston Single Burger Press, and I'm sold! Perfect patties with minimal effort. The weight markings are foolproof (I stuck with 1/4 lb), and the non-stick feature is not 100% perfect—parchment paper solves any sticking issues. If you're a kitchen rookie like me, this press is your burger buddy. Grilling just got a whole lot easier!

The box arrived damaged, it appeared to have previously opened. It arrived in its own box not protected in Amazon packaging which is very unusual. The product is also damaged - doesn't work well. The paint in itself is peeling off and coming onto the food/beef that we were making, so obviously not healthy. I'm not happy as I was trying to return it or replace it and the company doesn't allow for these, instead you have to go through the trouble of contacting them and they're in the US not in Canada. I would like someone to contact me to try to help me.

After being disappointed with every frozen patty I could purchase at the grocery store, not even looking or tasking like beef, I purchased this patty press and will never go back to store bought again. The press comes apart easy to clean and is very simple to use. 100% recommend this product

Excelente para hacer tus hamburguesas, sobre todo si vas a hacer muchas, lo único malo es que se siente un poco chica, pero se compone haciéndolas más gorditas y aplastándolas con la espátula para compensar

Solved the issue of inconsistent patties.

I use this mostly to make breakfast sausage patties. I tried hand presses, up to and including the excellent OXO burger press. They all depended on applying pressure evenly to the meat to make a consistent patty. The results just weren't good enough – I found manual pressing just wasn't consistent enough. The patties turned out lopsided more often than not. Part of that was because sausage patties are thinner than burgers, but the principle is the same.
The Weston makes pressing a mechanical operation. It always applies consistent pressure over the entire patty when you press the plunger. But note this: If you pile the meat on one side, or if you make a misshapen pile of meat to start with, nothing will make a perfect patty – make it into a ball and flatten it between your palms a little bit before placing in the center of the patty press area. Another tip: use patty papers (wax paper) beneath and on top of the meat; if the meat sticks to the papers, give the papers a quick squirt of cooking spray – or my preference, a quick spritz of canola oil with a Misto Frosted Glass Bottle Oil Sprayer (on Amazon). Patty papers eliminate cleanup issues, too.
The press unit is sturdy and easy to use, and can accommodate a wide range of patty thickness. A nice feature is that it makes every patty the same thickness (if your meat is measured out pretty much the same), eliminating human error with that. It's also quick, so you don't have to devote a lot of time to pressing patties.
One more note. It's not like other presses. If you get this thing, sit down and take it apart as if for cleaning, and reassemble. Understand how it works instead of just going at it out of the box and you'll get the results you want. RTFM! :)
The only (slight) minus is that it doesn't store in a small space, and it doesn't break down into smaller pieces to store. Be prepared to find a place for this thing if your kitchen storage space is already crowded.
It's not cheap but I think it's worth it.

Top bit of kit. Will last a lifetime it’s so sturdy and well made, could even become an heirloom. Simple to use, especially if you are making batches of patties for a bbq or for the freezer, and cleans very easily. I disassemble it for cleaning but that’s no great effort. Easy to adjust for different thicknesses of burger. Love it and looks great as a piece of industrial chic.
