We had been using sobacha that we bought in Japan which was a tasty and refreshing non-caffeinated summer drink. This sobacha is not as flavorful or full bodied. It is just "OK." I tried making different strengths but it didn't help. I won't buy this again although some may find it acceptable.
I found online that buckwheat tea is good for enlarged prostate/ prostatitis. I don't believe in all this research but willing to try . I bought this for my husband. He could not sleep through the night to go to the restroom, and , unfortunately, I was waken up every time that happens. Since he started drinking this tea it got much much better. I stopped buying for a while, but he asked me again to order it because he feels better on the tea. The taste is very mild compare to Japanese rice green tea. I like buckwheat tea better. It's expensive for a small package but it's worthy for us.
Although the tea is good, I was very disappointed that it did not come in a jar like my last purchase. It should state it only comes in a huge bag. Quite difficult to take out the right amount from the thin bag.
Product was expired for a month when it got to my hands. Also, this is not the Japanese Buckwheat Tea I'm used to, it does not even smell the same. I don't recommend buying this.
