I’m 62 now and couple of years ago I decided to change my diet and start eating more natural foods. (To reduce aging!) it’s worked in every way, I look and feel much better. So I decided to try the same idea with soap. I did some research and found the Kiss My Face brand bar soap was made with only olive oil, water, and sea salt. I started using it about a month ago and it’s great. I use it on my entire body, not just my face. It makes my skin soft, no more dry skin, lathers and cleans very well. Being older and a sun worshiper my skin was really drying and wrinkling but not any more. Friends and family say I look much younger than my real age! So for me it made sense, stopped eating garbage chemically prepared food, stopped putting chemicals on my body, great combination, I’m glad I found “Kiss My Face”!

I love this soap. I used something similar when I was in Turkey years ago and was happy when I found something similar on Amazon. It is moisturizing without that icky stickiness of most soaps that claim to do the same thing. It's like a coke with sugar instead of corn syrup. Now, it doesn't smell pretty. It smells like olive oil and some fancy salt or mud bath therapy treatment. Organic. I love it personally, but if you are used to Dove or something similar, it may be weird. Oh, and one bar lasts for freaking ever. It doesn't dissolve like a Dove-type soap.

This soap feels so incredibly moisturizing, I love it! I was looking for a soap specifically without sodium laurethyl sulfate because I'm slightly allergic to it and I've been having some skin irritation down below that I'm trying to fix. The soaps look nice and they're a good price. I appreciate that they're also fragrance free because there can often be a lot of chemicals in fragrance. The smell isn't amazing but I'll take it over the benefits of less chemicals and very moisturizing.

Weird white film on the soap; ingredients

I've heard of the brand so figured I'd give it a try. I am in no way a soap purist but, well, maybe now I realize I am.

FYI seller made it non-returnable. And Amazon wouldn't give me a stupid $6 credit.

It's "OLIVE OIL" soap, and it is green as advertised.
Size as advertised. 2 of the 3 bars were broken. (I thought, so what, its soap. Still.)

BUT the other ingredients come before the *olive oil* (based on product ingredients list).
WEIRDEST white film on certain parts of the soap...don't have a clue what it is. Not powder, almost like a mold, but not. If anything the weird white powder splotches tell me the product was stored improperly, and for quite a while. Even the packaging was not up to snuff.

Soap bar (dry, I didn't wet it) is very dry (in texture...its strange to hold a bar of dry-feeling soap).

Smells like a dirty, slightly polluted beach. Is this because salt is an ingredient? Or because they use less than quality olive oil? Or? (Salt is actually a common, perfectly acceptable ingredient for soap, homemade or not, but based on the salty-dirty-beach smell, there must be a bunch of salt in it, so I asked myself rhetorically - how can that possibly be moisturizing?)

Nowhere near a decent olive oil soap. (I purchased this brand only because several of the REAL olive oil soaps I usually buy on Amazon, pure with laurel/bay leaf oil, made outside of the U.S., were unavailable.)
Tip: if you want the real deal olive oil soap it is worth spending a little extra on the middle eastern/greek region soaps as they are hand made and cut, and one bar lasts one person's body a good 3 months because they're incredibly dense. Sure, two bars may be $12, but yeah that will last you 4-6 months. And man, those soaps are TO DIE FOR! And those soaps are SO dense that there is no way they could break. (Okay and the video they use for the product - a blender with olives, salt and water... Uh.... nope, because if you put those three ingredients in to a form and expected them to dry in to a nice homemade soap, you'd fail. Well, I'm guessing here, but it's misleading. I get the point of the video, cool, but no.)

Stars: I chose one star overall, because it arrived on time and had it been from the store it would likely have been in better condition.

I chose 1 for sensitive skin and 1 for moisturizing because I can't write N/A as I won't try the soap - I don't want to use salt to clean my skin, and the white powder spots are weird, and - I just know that there is NO WAY I would give this to a guest who has sensitive skin or needs moisture.

I have been using this soap for many years to avoid normal commercial soaps I don't trust. It's definitely got good moisturizing characteristics because my skin is as soft as a baby's bottom, and I'm almost 50. You can feel it when you get out of the shower. Highly recommend!
