I believe every parent should own this. First off, the Frida brand is just top tier. It does come with a replaceable filters. The mouth piece, tube, filer, top, and nose part all come apart. if you have a straw cleaner, that's what I use to wash it, and it works just fine. I prefer this over a powered snot sucker because you control the suction yourself.

Also, NO, THE SNOT DOES NOT GET SUCKED INTO YOUR MOUTH. EVEN WITHOUT THE FILER, THERE IS NOT ENOUGH SUCTION TO GO THAT FAR

This product works great easy to clean and comes with extra filters. I will never again use the bulb suctions like they give to you at the hospital, in my opinion they don't get all the snot out but nose Frida allows me to get all those pesky boogers out so my baby can breathe better.

I gave it 4 stars because the design could use some improvements. The mouthpiece and snot suction area don't have a tight connection with the hose so its very easy for the baby to pull on the clear hose part and ruin your snot suction efforts. It also gets looser over time as you wash it. Also wish it came with more of the disposable filters.

This works so much better than traditional bulb suckers. The quality seems a bit flimsy, but it’s held up great after countless uses and washes. There’s a bit of a mental hurdle to get over (the idea of sucking snot out of your baby’s nose is a bit gross), but after using this hundreds of times, there’s no actual risk of getting anything nasty in your mouth. The design of the tube and straw eliminate that altogether.
The shape of the tip of the aspirator is great in that can’t go too far up the nostril to cause pain or discomfort. My daughter never seems to mind when I use the about sucker to clear her nose.
