A little pricey, but works well
As others mentioned, the cost is a bit high for this small jar. I used about half the dye, covering only the parts that will show when I wear this as an undershirt. I wanted to make sure I'd have enough dye for a second coat, if needed.I painted the dye into dry fabric with a paintbrush. This is 85% wool, so I didn't want to heat-set with an iron as the directions say. I tried using a hair dryer (good idea from another review), but it quit working after I did one side. So that turned out to be a useful experiment -- on this fabric, no heat setting is needed. I hand washed in Eucalan and then rinsed until the water stopped being purple.Fabric is slightly less soft after dyeing, but probably not enough that I'd notice it, if I didn't have the "before" area to compare with.

loved the product as far as using it on my jewelry box. i painted the lining in the drawers. (they were corduroy) You are supposed to use an iron to heat seal them so they don't run. Pretty hard to iron a drawer, so I used my Heat gun. It actually worked..The color is beautiful and matches well with my lavender paint.
However (not the makers fault) but the bottle came in a box with no outer wrapping or a bag ! It could have leaked out. the lid was actually slightly loose. i just ordered a larger jar and praying it comes in a bag. I believe they sell fabric paint that you don't need to seal, but this seems to hold up pretty well.

Very easy to remove from my hands and very easy to clean out of the stencils when I used them. I also love a lot the colors. All colors looks really elegant and nice. The paint is designed for light color so definitely do better on light colors. But I have paints dark color applying white first and I can say that is pretty nice too. Definitely my 1 option on clothing painting
