Great product, easy loading, and the battery life is great too.
This particular grip feels very good in the hand, and has the excellent build quality that you would expect from Canon. The contours of the grip extend the body shape of the 5D Mark IV very well.
My only complaint (as others have noted) is that the battery tray is flimsy, to say the least. It is not at all like the battery trays in other Canon grips. It's made of a glossy thin plastic that flexes very easily. Putting the batteries in feels like a hit or miss affair — it is difficult to 'feel' when they are seated correctly. Even the light pressure required to put them in or take them out feels like it might stress the tray to breaking point. This my reason for docking one star, but given that most of my interactions with the grip are NOT with the battery tray, I still feel this warrants four stars.
It does not come with the AAA tray found in other grips, but I have never needed to use that anyway. If you are close enough to somewhere to buy AAA batteries, then you are probably close enough to an outlet to charge your LP-E6Ns.
Canon grips are MUCH better built than 3rd party grips, BUT are MUCH more expensive.
