A magical book filled with extraordinary information that’s simply presented.

Ultimately, there are a few simple principles impressed over and over and over in a myriad of different ways.

This book - if read thoroughly and reviewed - should offer the most impactful and complete basic education of what is known as the subconscious mind. You should know exactly what it is, it’s purpose and what it can produce should you know how to use it.

And J. Murphy gives a powerful, detailed breakdown of exactly how you can impact and shape your subconscious mind to propel you into action in whatever direction you want to take your life.

This book is way longer than what you think is. It’s got more chapters than you think, it’s more detailed than you’d imagine. It would be ridiculous to try to knock this out like it’s a story.

This is a Bible of subconscious education.

I find Murphy’s interpretations of Biblical scriptures interesting. He seems to have this idea and concept that Biblical figures were not actual people but a symbolism of emotions or spaces of infinite intelligence that need to be tapped. In Murphy’s mind Jesus is not a human, he’s a symbolism of hope... God is within us, not a spirit entity that sits on a throne and doles our judgement.

I enjoyed his interpretation but that doesn’t mean that’s what it is... and if it is... how does he know? Not really sure about that.

The book wants you to observe your mind at the absolute deepest levels of your being. Imagine a world where we have control of our future... this is a book... if taken seriously changes how we look at our world personally and beyond. I’d imagine the powers that be would want this to be kept under wraps.

Read for freedom. And read for perspective.

The initial part of this book explores the clash between your conscious and subconscious mind. It shows how each works to create your own reality and by knowing the rules, one can manipulate and alter a more desirable reality outcome.

The deeper you get into the reading, the more you will notice there is a Christian bend to the philosophy. The two extra books at the end or also directed more towards religion in some sense which was disappointing to me. But overall I get the point for the reasoning behind the machine. The book could have been condensed down to about half it’s size and get the same ideology across.

I give it a 5, but it's a book that could be rewritten in a more organized and concise manner, and a few more key points added. It's a great companion to The Laws of Success, and A Book about You. LOS is probably the best organized of the 3, but the 2 other books put a little more meaning behind some of the principles touched in LOS.

I feel that, while bringing up principles to put the socalled secret in context, it doesn't point squarely at the means of putting oneself in the proper place to make the methods work for the reader.

By this I mean, with the root of this all being belief, the most important thing to do is actually believe, nay *know* and *feel*. The reader has to be convinced of the concepts put forward... otherwise, the secret remains such.

For that reason, I think A Book about You is a great companion to this. Different authors, and while it gets a little rambly, it fills in some of the blanks left in this book. Another popular one, The Master Key by Haanel is better suited for people who don't already have good imaginations and are new to meditation, affirmations, and the like. Another, How to Make Friends and Influence people expands of some principles of this book.

The Power of Your Subconscious Mind does a good job however of putting things in context of Christianity, which is great if you're a Christian.
