Customers are mixed about the noise of the bicycle. Some mention that it's not extremely quiet, but not too loud. They say the chain isn't too loud, and the bike rides smooth. The stickers look like happy hour possibly started mid shift as some of the lettering are not quite symmetrical. Not an issue to me though. Great bike!
Post ride update: please do yourself the favor of swapping the seat. No kidding this is the worst saddle I’ve ever had under my rear. You could skip installing the seat and just plop down on the seat post and though I doubt you’d find it more comfortable, it undoubtedly wouldn’t be worse. It literally is like sitting on a fire hydrant.

Things to keep in mind- make sure you match the left crank to the left pedal vice versa, if you put the right pedal on the left crank. YOU WILL STRIP OUT THE CRANK AND CAUSE THE PEDALS TO FALL. This will render that crank useless thus the entire bike a oversized paper weight and needing to be replaced. if while twisting the pedal onto the crank you feel resistance STOP, you are putting the wrong pedal on.
Make sure everything is screwed on tight, I didn’t use the included tools I had proper tools so I got it much tighter than I would have if I used the included.
THE SEAT HAS BEEN CHANGED! I see a lot of reviews that talk about the horrible seat included, I had actually ordered a seperate seat but when this bike arrived the seat it came with is wide and extremely plush and squishy so I returned the one I ordered (pics included)
Things I don’t like: I’m 6’0 and it is ever so slightly uncomfortable to reach the handlebars, I can remedy this by lowering the seat but by doing that I can’t fully extend my legs so that makes it more uncomfortable. this can be fixed if Marcy added additional holes for adjustment in the posts and their is room to do so. I could imagine you can drill out holes like another reviewer did. But if we’re talking stock and no changes, if your over 6’1-6’2 then definitely look elsewhere.
It makes a clicking sound which I believe is coming from the chain not the actual flywheel, I can imagine it can be fixed with either oil or a tweak to the adjustments in the chain but not a lot of people are handy to fix this like I am.
Will update in a few months
EDIT 5/03/30- the different cushion seat That I said was so soft and cushiony is actually too soft that it provides no support for your butt, you sink and your basically sitting on the rock hard base of the seat. DEFINITELY replace the seat once you buy.
The handlebar foam really soaks sweat so I can imagine it’s gonna break down in a few months and tear apart.
PRICE BUYER BEWARE- I noticed Marcy as a company changes their prices for their bikes often in increments of $50-$150, I paid 249.99 for the bike, I’d suggest to not pay anymore than that, it’s not worth in my opinion the current $350 price tag.
As far as being uncomfortable like I said in the first review, I’ve adjusted to it. It no longer pains my back. But I can imagine a person over 6’0 would not adjust to this.
END OF EDIT 05/03/20 will update in 4-6 months
Assembly
The bike arrived promptly and took my husband and I about 30 minutes to set up and included all of the tools necessary to complete assembly. The only hiccup was installing the water bottle holder. The screws are self-tapping and I found them impossible to get to them to fully seat. I ended up securing the holder using hair ties; however, most of my water bottles are of the Swell-style and are too tall to fit into the holder anyways.
Pedals
I read some reviews which indicated that one of the pedals fell off mid-ride and the threads were stripped. I did some research on bike forums and found that its really easy to cross-thread the pedals. To prevent this from happening, I screwed in the pedals almost all the way by hand and, if I encountered ANY amount of resistance, I would unscrew and start over. I still spent the first couple of weeks riding in fear of the pedal coming off but it's been about 6 weeks of considerable use and I haven't had any problems. I also eventually switched out the caged pedals for SPD pedals. Walmart had a set of pedals, shoes, and cleats for about $70.
Handle bars
The handle bars do wobble a little bit but not to the point where I feel unstable out of the saddle. I also wish the handle bars could be raised by one more hole. I'm 5'9 and am already on the last hole. I imagine anyone especially tall would need to drill out another hole to get this bike to work. I also wish the shorter, inner handle bars (not sure if there is a more technical term...) connected at the top to more easily attach a tablet.
Comfort/Noise
A lot of reviews mention the seat being unbearably uncomfortable. I personally didn't mind the seat and have not swapped it out for a better one. I've done all sorts of rides through the Peloton app on the bike and have had no problem doing any of the "moves" on the bike. The bike feels very secure while riding. My husband was super skeptical when I decided to purchase a lower-priced bike and was quite surprised how "legit" it looks and feels. Overall, it rides pretty smooth and quiet.
I paid $230 for the bike and, for that reason, I'm giving it 5 stars despite some downsides. Prior to quarantine, I took one spin class a week. Using this bike and the Peloton app, I've done about 5 classes/week and have fallen in love with it. I really expected to sell/donate the bike once things start opening up again but I've decided to keep it and continue with the Peloton classes. I think if I keep using it more long-term, I might get a more higher-end bike. However, for my current needs, this bike is perfect. I would fully recommend this bike for someone who is looking for a less expensive bike or is a more beginner and/or casual user.
Top reviews from other countries
Once I learned that gyms are going to be closed for at least 2 months, I wanted to get a spin bike. Most places that sell good bikes are closed, and I was able to get next day shipping. The bike doesn't have a computer on it, but I use my Garmin Fenix 3HR to track heart rate and calories, even in the gym.
If you are just looking for a good workout, and don't care about all the nonsense on the computer the bike is great.
Bike runs smooth.
Not too noisy.
Solid frame.
Good bike for its price.
