After getting my boys the Traxxas Rustler and Stampede for Christmas I decided I needed to get a car for myself. This was it, and I'm loving it. For starters, it's huge. It's twice the size of a traditional 1/10 scale RC car; it's twice the size of the Rustler and Stampede. It has a super soft suspension and very sticky tires, so the Summit is most home off road. On road both the Rustler and Stampede are significantly faster. Off road the Summit is nearly unstoppable. It came with a defective transmission servo, and Traxxas sent a replacement for free.
I separately purchased the $200 pair of 2S lipo batteries and charger. I get about an hour of mixed driving out of those batteries.
