Step 1) Open hatch on the back of LED Accelerator light (opposite side of the white button). Take out the two batteries. You should see a transparent plastic tab. Remove this plastic tab to allow the batteries to make contact. Once the tab is removed, put the batteries back and close the hatch. Press the white button to turn the light on. If the blue light is not on, you may have inserted the batteries incorrectly. Step 2) Gently clean/wash the transparent mouthpiece of Accelerator Light (with the light turned off). Do not submerge the Accelerator Light completely under water. Step 3) Once you’ve painted on teeth whitening gels or put on your dental tray with whitening gels, place the Accelerator Light against your teeth or the dental tray and wrap your lips around the outer rim to hold it in place. Step 4) Turn on the light. Step 5) Keep Accelerator Light on and in your mouth for the duration of teeth whitening session. Step 6) Turn off the light. Clean/wash the mouthpiece and store in a dry & safe place.

I have a little experience with teeth bleaching, so hopefully my review will help others. I have had my teeth professionally lightened. And for bleaching at home & or for maintaining the results of a professional bleaching, I have learned to find the strongest % bleach available, which can be found here on Amazon. Most of the 'as seen on TV" bleaching products are worthless. So using the strongest bleach gel definitely works for me, but it usually takes at least 21 days or more of bleaching every single day for a whole hour, until I truly get the results I want. I finally took the next step & ordered this LED light. And the results are night & day, better! In just one week, I have seen much better results & I'm guessing by the end of week 2, the results will be gorgeous! I am a big believer in "light treatment". I have an entire spa system set up in my home that is all "skin light treatment". So I am a walking "poster child" for the benefits of LED light. This product does come with batteries & instructions (all ready to go). But you need to buy the bleach separately. And you need to buy trays too. I already had both. So it was simply a matter of placing the LED light gadget over my trays. It's not uncomfortable & I don't have to sit & hold the LED light in place. Great product!

Cheaply Made, Don't Work, Stay Away.

Mine did not work out of the box like many others state in their reviews.
It is made of cheap plastic material and the parts do not fit properly and it appears to have rusted inside.
Item shipped from Hong Kong and took a long time to get. This was not a big issue for me but may be for other buyers.
Seller wants a picture of the item and shipping box before processing return or refund. I could do this, but why? I'd rather spend the time writing this fabulous, factual review.
If there was a selection for Zero Stars Rating, or lower, I would've selected that star instead.

I find this thing horrible to try to hold in my mouth, with the tray of whitening gel, for 10-20 minutes. I start having saliva build up and my mouth aches keeping it in place. But it does function as expected, lights up with a UV light, doesn't feel hot or burn that I could tell. I just don't have the patience for it. I am sanitizing it and giving it to my sister...she likes this stuff.

This little LED light works great! I read reviews and was skeptical about buying cause people said it arrived dead. The first thing I did was take the batteries out and remove the plastic piece that keeps the light from turning on. It works! I also thought this came with the plus white whitening gel but then I read that it doesn't. So I bought a professional teeth whitening kit at my local pharmacy with the whitening gel and trays and was able to put the light over my trays. I removed both after 20 minutes but then after rinsing the gel, kept the light in for another 20 minutes and saw results! I think this light works great, it's a great little boost to the whitening gel. I would recommend!

This blue LED light does absolutely nothing to whiten teeth. I have read that even the blue lights used at dentists have not proven to be useful either in whitening and is used today mostly to make patients think they are getting hi tech treatment. I only found this out after purchasing this device. It was so cheap, why not give it a try? I used it with the Brilliant HD Pro Teeth Whitening Kit and after two weeks see very little whitening. The light is just for show, it does nothing to speed up the whitening process. Save your money. Although, the light is pretty bright and makes a good night flashlight for your nightstand.

Works/Does Not Work? Who knows.

I have yet to determine how ANYONE could claim that this product either WORKS or DOES NOT WORK. I suspect that there is a certain amount of "feel good" involved in this but as I cannot see any difference between using it and not using it for whitening my teeth so I choose to use it when I can. Easy to use, just tun it on and hold it securely between your lips; easy to care for, but NOT watertight I suspect, so I use a Q-tip and alcohol. If someone can prove to all of us that it works than it deserves a 5-star rating simply because it is cheap. If you can prove it doesn't work, please don't bother telling me as I already own it.

Cheap product.

Although inexpensive, batteries were dead so there's another $5.00 or so.

The product is not in any sealed package which give you an uneasy feeling right away. I mean you do place this item in your mouth.

The item was very scratched up and didn't look new, so I expressed my concerns to Amazon who were right on it and did refund my original purchase amount, still out $5.00 for batteries. I didn't use the product at all nor did I request a replacement.
