I can't believe I didn't buy these years ago!

I can't believe I didn't buy these years ago!
I've used this now for 2 different loaves of cold process soap. It's been great! I will be buying a couple more so I can do multiple loaves at once. For some reason every other silicone mold I've used has been a nightmare to get soap out of, but these are so easy to use. I have a very "soft" recipe I use often, and with my wooden molds I was having to wait 4 days before unmolding. Not the case with these! I waited 24 hours after pouring, popped it in the freezer for 30 minutes, turned it upside-down and the soap slid out nice and slowly. I still had to wait another 12 or so hours before cutting, but that's not an issue at all.I've used pvc pipe for round soaps and gotten my soap stuck in the mold before, but I don't think that will be an issue here. Everything came out very easily. The sides pull out a tiny bit - Just enough to let air get in and release the soap, but not enough to make the sides buckle while you're waiting for your soap to "set up".I love the straight sharp corners, I haven't had those in the past since I was having to line my old molds with freezer paper. No lining, no greasing, and they're so easy to wash! I can't believe how long I debated whether or not I should invest in these. If you're on the fence, I highly recommend just buying one and trying it - I doubt you'll be disappointed!I was also very excited to see it these loaves fit into my soap cutter, I was worried it would be just a touch too wide to fit. My soap cutter is 3 and 5/8 inches wide, and it slid in with just enough wiggle room to not get wedged. It's perfect!I do wish they made one with slightly higher sides, my old mold (and all the other soaps I have made) are the same size in every way except height, and now I'll have to alter my packaging. Not a big deal if my customers don't mind the small height difference!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great reusable solution for making soap again and again.
Reviewed in the United States on March 27, 2016
This was the first time I've made soap, and I'm really glad I purchased this mold to make it. You can also use parchment paper and a box, but if you're going to be making soap a lot, it doesn't make sense to spend money on parchment paper and the extra effort of lining a box when you can just use this reusable solution each time.

My first batch turned out great! It was extremely easy to pop the soap loaf out of the mold and clean it to re-use. Your soap will be 8" x 3.5" x 2.5" when it finishes. The mold is very thick, and made well which is good because I want it to last for years.
