Having brought my babies up on the Baby Einstein series, and being a bit of a control freak about what they watch (essentially only what CBeebies would show), I only recently found out about the Little Einsteins - my kids are now 3 and 5. I did wonder whether my older child would find them a little young, but I optimistically put the 1st disk into the car DVD player at the start of a drive to nearly the south of France. They were HOOKED ! That was 3 weeks ago and we have had nothing but Little Einsteins ever since ! I bought 4 disks to begin with, and they love them all. They have been a little frightened by the Ogre in one episode, but they love the series. I will definitely now buy the rest !
the dvd only plays on 'region 2' for the dvd and computer. The seller did not mention this anywhere for the buyer to see. My son is so dissapointed that he cannot watch his new dvd and I'm dissapointed that you ripped me off! Absolute junk!
I bought this dvd for my two and a half year old after he saw an episode of Little Einsteins as a bonus feature on a Mickey Mouse Club House dvd. It introduces classical music and art to children in a fun way. My son even recognised Beethoven's 5th on an advert recently because of this dvd!! Please don't think it's too highbrow, the stories are a lot of fun, and viewers have to "help" the LE's to solve problems. One word of caution if you have a child of a sensitive nature; the giant in the Annie and the Beanstalk episode may worry some children, but as with all Disney dvds, it all ends happily ever after!
