    The Dial Fades In Heat!
This is a handy instrument in theory; place it on the grill and you know the temperature at the level where your food is actually cooking, not at the top of the box where the built-in thermometer is. However, I have to ask how useful this dial is going to be in a couple more uses. The red color (dye or ink or whatever it is) is fading to orange, and I suspect that it's going to disappear fairly soon. The black numbers are still sharp so I guess I can literally read between the lines, but still, it's disappointing.
