Now that I can actually use it, I can say hands down this is a REALLY good black paper pad. It's true black with a slight hue of blue in it that makes it nice and neutral (unlike some other black pads). The paper is a nice medium-thickness, so layering charcoal/pastel/dry medium works really well. I have not tried it with watercolor pencils yet, but will update if I do so.
Pros:
1. True Black
2. Really good customer Service
3. Nice paper with only slight texture, perfect for use with dry medium
Cons:
1. I will need to buy more.
