The Sensei Skylander figures are awesome, but the villains Sensei are awesome-r!
Skylanders Sensei 8-PackPre-order the Bandicoot Starter Edition along with the 8-pack Sensei Skylanders and 5-pack Sensei Villains, and rounding off with Kaos and Observatory Adventure pack. The Sensei Slylanders are the highlights of this iteration- and not the creating (imaginating) your own Skylander aspect of the game.I really like the new Sensei Skylanders and Sensei villains- as each one of them is unique looking and play quite differently. Some are weak but make up in the speed department; Aurora and Ember are fast with quick attacks. While the tanks are slow but a powerhouse in attacks- Tri-tip and Hood Sickle are lethargic yet satisfying with their heavy bombs. Although my favorites are definitely Crash and Chopscotch. Their attacks are fun to execute, quick, and varied in long and short range attacks. It gets very chaotic with lots of enemies on screen- and wiping them out with a few quick strokes is quite gratifying! The enemies are just as fun and whacky, especially the mid-bosses, and, the new Doomlanders! Each Doomlander is based on a Battle Class (the 10 classes you get to choose when creating your own Skylander). They even have their own 'Voltron-esque' transformation intro when first introduced (go to my profile for my YouTube link to watch their videos), and some will say something meathead-ish in the end :D I wished they had made them into toys as well (well, maybe not... too many figures to collect already). The toys are well made with small details and aesthetic touches. They all feel hearty and sturdy. While not as big as the Trap Team Skylanders, but bigger than the SuperChargers. The stand they stood on are designed and colored base on the Skylander's element, and the shape design is somewhat unique to the previous 5 Skylander toys (previous ones are round base at the bottom). My favorite 2 Skylander figures are Chompy Mage and Tri-Tip! See the pics to take a look with the whole gang all together in this wave 1 release.Visit my profile to see more of my toys and toys-to-life reviews and unbox. Cheers~
