I do love these and would wear them all day every day if I could get away with them at work. The white looks really nice and fits well with almost anything you wear. Like most Birkenstocks they mold to your feet after wearing a few times. Wish they were 100% vegan, but because they are shoes I will keep forever, cobbler-ing when needed, it is something I am ethically ok with rather than buying numerous cheap pairs of shoes that break and don't last from poor labor conditions - even if they are vegan.

Disappointed. Not really comfortable for my foot. Too wide. Tightened straps to keep them on. Should have ordered narrow, but was afraid they would be too narrow. I won't buy them again. I gave these to my granddaughter. She has wider foot.Katharine Forrester

I thought they would be more comfortable but I have very flat feet and have had surgeries on my left foot. The soles seem more rigid than I expected making the wear of them very uncomfortable especially for the first hour or so that I wear them, however, as I wear them more, I think the soles are conforming some to the shape of my feet. Hoping they will become more comfortable the more I wear them.

When you get them you'll have to break them in for a day or two. But after you break them in and your feet adjusts, it's the most comfortable thing ever. You can just slip them on and wear them all day. I love my Birks, I wear them everywhere as a college student! I have regular width foot so I chose the regular width and it fits perfectly. I'm also US 8.5 Women's and the 39 fits great.

I have purchased several pair of Berkinstocks, over the past 7 seven years, both winter and summer. I needed this pair only because I had knee replacement surgery and my gate changed, additionally lost 73 lbs.. So I definitely walk differently. As for the shoes winter or summer very comfortable, once they are broken in. You need to get the food bed to mold to your feet, like custom shoes. They wipe clean nicely. They are so worth the money they last almost forever, my first pair lasted at least 7 years. You love them just like I do. 👍🏼👍🏼
