I randomly saw this in the store one time & looked it up on Amazon; it had really good reviews so I ordered it because I love Burt's Bees and also because it was recommended for oily skin. I washed my face in the shower & used this before I moisturized. I COULDN'T BELIEVE how dirty the cotton ball was AFTER I had already used my face wash & exfoliated in the shower! I don't know if this will actually help with my acne, but I will continue to use it just because of how much more grime it gets off of your skin even after you thought it was already clean! It smells amazing too.

I had been looking for a long time for natural products to use on my skin to make my skin look younger, deal with wrinkles, act as a sunscreen,and be a product that uses all natural extracts that have the same effects on skin health that most of the over the counter and prescription skin care products do.

I had just learned that tomato extract acted as a sunscreen because of the lycopene, I also read about the silicon in parsley helped with skin wrinkles and firmness,the green tea for protecting skin from sun damage caused by free radicals, (all ingredients found in Burt's Bees Garden Tomato Toner). it also has a natural exfoliator and other ingredients that also play their own roles in keeping skin healthy and young, even seeming to reverse signs of aging.

I started to use Burts Bees Garden Tomato Toner 1 to 2 years ago and since then, I have had the healthiest, youngest looking skin since I started my search for natural skincare. (due to allergies) which began years ago. I've tried different natural products on my skin that worked well in some ways, but didn't give me the healthy glow or provide the multiple benefits that Burt's Bees Garden Tomato Toner has.

It has everything in it to take care of your skin. If you feel you need a moisturizer like I do, I just use a small amount of pure virgin coconut oil, which also contains sunscreen, and apply it to my skin either before or after Burt's Bees.

I don't feel that I will find another toner that has so much in it to keep my skin healthy and I don't plan on using anything else. It is the best buy I have found as well, especially because it provides so many benefits in one bottle. and it lasts a long time between purchases.

p.s. I like to pour it into a small hairspray mister travel bottle and spray it on my face, decolet and anywhere I want to improve my skin health.

It is a really, really good product.

I've been using this toner for a few years now and there is nothing like it. I use it every night before bed after using Cetaphil and it's done wonders for my spottiness. I have combination skin with occasional breakouts, usually hormonal, and this has helped my skin a lot. One bottle lasts me about 6 months and I know now I need to make sure to resupply when I'm running low because my skin feels drier and is more susceptible to breakouts when I don't use this toner. The scent is very subtle and not displeasing in the least. I actually have grown to love the smell of it. It only has the tiniest amount of alcohol in it, so it never burns my skin. I simply put a little on a cotton ball or tissue after washing my face and run it all over my skin. It leaves it feeling just the slightest bit tighter and cleaner. It's amazing how much makeup is still left on my face after cleansing and this gets all the rest of it. If I'm not planning on putting on makeup in the morning, I'll use this after I shower and put on moisturizer over it and my skin feels great.

I was not super thrilled with this when I first bought it. I tried it a couple times, and didn't notice a difference. I'm not the greatest at following though with routines. I had used this a couple of times, and then stopped for months it just sat. Then I started using it again and I actually see the difference in my pores now, this is the second bottle I've purchased. Yeah it smells strong but once it dries you don't smell it anymore. I have VERY large pores on the insides of my cheeks close to my nose under my eyes. This actually does help them not look so HUGE. I would definitely recommend this is you're looking to reduce the size of your pores. This is the only product I've ever used that has actually made a difference to my pores. At the end of the day before I go to bed I was my face, and then I put this on. Absolutely love it.

I really do like Burt's Bees tomato toner. It smells delightful & feels really good over my face. Sadly lycopene does nothing for my acne. I had porcelain skin until a couple of years ago and I thought something with tomato derivatives would help. Nope. This tomato toner is not overly drying at all though, and it does the job of cleaning as it should. It's not an aid against acne. Neither is their acne line toner, sad to say.
I would buy it again & again if it weren't for the company being owned by Clorox. Any company owned by a poisonous corporation automatically loses my trust, and my purchasing power. Burt's Bees doesn't test on animals, but Clorox does, and if you fund Burt, well, you get the picture.
And buy on Amazon or ebay or any other site that ISN'T the Burt's Bees shop site. I turned to Amazon because of a TERRIBLE experience with the Burt's Bees website in which I had to contact Clorox customer service directly to find out wth happened to my shipment, etc. Buyer beware! choose Amazon! :o)

I've tried a lot of toners throughout my life, from the very expensive to some of the more modestly priced, and can say with confidence that this is among the best. First of all people should recognize that it can be a bit strong for sensitive skin, so if you have naturally dry skin then this may not be the product for you. Otherwise, if you are like me with an oily complexion, then this is definitely for you! The price is not steep at all, and does the job of a 40$ bottle equivalent toner keeping your skin feeling refreshed and clean for hours. The smell is a bit strong, but if use a cotton ball as recommended, it won't be too intrusive - less is more. I am also very pleased to note that this bottle, while it does not seem particularly large, is 8.0 oz - a good 1.3 oz more than a typical bottle of toner, and comes in a very simple and delicate design (it will look great in your bathroom). I have had no problems whatsoever while using it over the past three weeks, and will definitely purchase more! Thank you Burt's Bees for another wonderful product!
