This is an extremely serviceable photo storage box. Some have unfavorably compared these storage containers to shoe boxes, and while it's true they're about the same size and shape as a shoe box, they're a LOT sturdier! And they look a lot nicer, too. I wouldn't put a shoe box on a bookshelf in my dining room, which is what I've done with this box.

This particular box is a plain beige or light tan color, a bit like postal wrapping paper, but lighter. It has a metal tag in front, which you can slide a label into, to help you identify the contents of each box. It comes with sturdy dividers, so if you choose to fill it with photos or recipes, you can organize them according to subject.

I'm using mine to hold business receipts for last year's taxes. You can put just about anything in it, though. Photos, old letters and cards, recipes, receipts, souvenirs from a special trip, etc. I have several in my sewing room, which I use to hold ribbons and lace, works-in-progress, and so forth. These boxes are really great for helping you stay tidy and organized. They come in different colors, too, so you can match your decor.

I'll give it five stars. Highly recommended!

Great value for the price. This cardboard colored storage box is a upscale sturdy shoe box that holds hundreds of my old 4x6 pictures. Comes with unattached lid and packet of large dividers to write on. I have 3 boxes and will purchase a few more. They work great stacking one on another and do not take up a lot of space. I like how neat and organized I have all my old photos now and I keep them on a bookshelf for family and other guest to pull out and remenise over. Great conversation piece rather than leaving them hidden away in a closet as I had for years before purchasing these display storage boxes.

I have purchased four of these boxes, and use them for storing seed packets. 10 labeled cardstock dividers are included, which are helpful for separating whatever items you put in the box.

On the outside of the box, the label framework is sturdy. Only one label is included for this purpose, but would be easy to make another. I've purchased other brands of photo boxes in the past, where it was very difficult to get even a piece of paper wedged in to label the box's contents; but on this box it's very easy.

Only one star off this product: I love the natural-colored box, but stains will show easily. That's something to consider in case you plan to display the box. Otherwise, a great product for the price!

I bought these to hold my husbands work receipts. You cannot beat the price for how many boxes you get. Holds all of his receipts no problem. They look good on the shelf too.

These could work for a variety of reasons. I have a similar box in blue from another seller that holds my pictures.

Overall, highly recommend if your looking for a nice storage solution for smaller paper items. My only wish is that it came with labels to fit in the front metal holder.

I purchased this box for my seeds for my garden. I have quickly outgrown this box and will need more but this suits my needs. Wanted a box that also had dividers and cards to make notations on.
