I also like how I can quickly remove my laptop from this mount as well. I'd strongly recommend this!

so far I'm really liking it. I at first had trouble with it holding the weight of my Macbook Pro 2016, and I almost returned. I had tightened everything to where I couldn't tighten it any more.... and was getting super frustrated. I decided to call their customer service, and WOW - what great, knowledgable, and super helpful!

The customer service at Loctek, told me that it was a little tricky in getting the system to work. They gave me step-by-step setup.
1. all the weight you are going to put on there - needs to be on the plate before the adjustments are made
2. try and loosen it instead.

That seems to be holding everything in place like it should

It's ok. We just purchased three different arms and this is by far the weakest in terms of build quality. The connection from the arm to the base tube is sloppy and is not possible to tighten in any meaningful way. the joint from the top of the arm to the LCD/laptop bracket is also sloppy.
The unit includes both a table edge clamp with generous clearance and a through bolt bracket which is nice.

Este soporte es de buena calidad base metalica, soporte de laptop metalico. La cubierta del brazo es plastico pero se ve bien. Los conductos para manejo de cables son muy utiles. Por ejemplo me permite poner un cable vga, un dvi y 3 usb sin problema. Cuenta con unos soportes laterales que se pueden ajustar al ancho de la laptop para mayor soporte lateral (y evitar accidentes de caidas). El limite de ancho para dichos soportes es de 38 cm. Asi que una laptop mayor a 15 pulgadas probablemente requiera no usarlos.. con su respectivo riesgo.

Este producto esta en otra dimension en comparacion con los soportes de "poste" y al haber usado uno en el trabajo y compararlo con este, la diferencia es abismal.

El unico inconveniente que he encontrado hasta ahora es que al quitar la laptop el brazo se va para arriba a pesar de ajustar la tension lo mas posible (un poco mas y se va para abajo), esto puede ser algo molesto si se retira la laptop continuamente. Por eso recomiendo (al menos yo pienso intentar) poner algo de lastre para evitar que se suba.

Las instrucciones son suficientemente claras (no a prueba de dummies) y viene con todo lo necesario para el ensamble. Recomiendo desmontar las cubiertas para manejo de cables desde el inicio.

Al usar este soporte hay que considerar que unos 60 cm de cable se quedan en el interior del brazo. para dos monitores de 23 pulgadas lado a lado , cables de 1.8m quedan justos. Definitivamente cables de 90 cm no son aptos para usarse con este brazo.

En general es un buen producto ya que finalmente me permite aprovechar de manera ergonomica y efectiva el monitor de la laptop.
