Desecrating Solomon: Book 1 of 3 Kindle Edition
I find her hanging from a gnarled tree like some dark omen wrapped tightly in a decadent red dress.
Once I get her safely in my cabin home, I discover she's a canvas of brutality and not just her body.
"Please. No telling.
No authorities."
That's what she makes me swear and I do.
But why did this happen to her?
Who did it?
Where were they now?
Nursing her back to health, I secretly investigate
but every day produces dead ends with more disturbing questions.
A voice in me says run.
Take her as far as I can from the dread circling that unholy town.
I listen to that voice, but every road out of Weston
is a loop that leads us back to the very evil we're desperate to escape.
It feels like the clock is ticking,
counting down to a horrifying event neither of us can fully comprehend
but are destined to be part of.
Sometimes love becomes the most perilous choice,
a labyrinth with no clear exit.
It leaves you groping in the darkness
where the air is replaced with hair raising horror
and impending doom.
WARNING: Proceed with extreme caution. This dark romantic thriller contains themes of violence and abuse and is based on hauntingly real events.

About the author
I’m a husband, father, and author privileged to live next door to the Atchafalaya Swamp Basin in Louisiana. I love good food and passing a good time and I also love writing realistic love stories with plenty of passion.
When I'm not writing, I'm helping the wife with the endless job of raising our six kids and homesteading on our three acres of heaven on the bayou.

Solomon & Chaos are your primary characters; Solomon is a stand up dude. I like his sense of humor, his giving heart and his protective nature. Chaos is a bit on the strange side, naive and sheltered but there is still this strong willed woman beneath what she has been conditioned to be.
The subsidiary characters in this book are awesome. Between Miss Mary & Jimmy I often felt like I was in a scene with some of my older relatives. They also helped to bring some comedic relief between some pretty intense and sometimes disturbing scenes.
The story was well written, unpredictable and rich with plot twists, turns and pivots. You go from "Oh hell no" to "Are you effin' serious!" The character development is on point throughout the book; it isn't as if Solomon & Chaos just fell for each other ..you actually get to see the falling.
The background story is just as in depth and enthralling as the plot. The history of the asylum will blow your mind and the "realness" of the occult in this story is disturbing because it isn't that far fetched from reality.
Amazing book that will literally have you both scared and anxious to turn the page. It is written well and in such a way that you will easily read it from beginning to end while tuning out the real world. Can't wait to read the next one.
Relentless Book Chics approved & recommended.
Solomon is a man who was called back to his hometown when the church needed help with an elderly woman's care. With nothing else going on in his life, he agreed to come back, live in the woods and care for the woman. But what he finds in the woods of his birthplace is more than he ever bargained for.
Chaos, Chosen, Silence-- she is a woman of many names. Adopted into a cult, for lack of a better term, she has devoted her life to her 'religion.' Following orders and doing what she can to make it through all of the evil in her world. Her next call to duty?--'Collect' Solomon.
Over the course of their relationship, Chaos begins to have strange feelings, things she has never felt before. While Solomon works hard to not to give into any kinds of feelings he may have, his own demons preventing him. The care that Solomon gives to Chaos and those around him is inspiring. He protects and cares without question. He is truly a man of God.
The suspense in this book is delicious. The anxiety is high-- always waiting for the shoe to drop, for the big reveal, but at the same time the reader is fully engaged in the developing story line. Then there is the crazy, and this book is filled with it. The crazy makes the suspense all the better. The story development and plot twists are unexpected, fresh and exact what the doctor ordered. I can't tell you what I was originally expecting, but this exceeded that tenfold. The depth of emotion and even sexuality that emerges is awe-inspiring.
I am waiting on pins and needles waiting for book 2 to release.
Solomon Gorge is contacted by members of the church to become care taker for a widower named Mary. So he moves back to his childhood home on the outskirts of Weston, Virginia. He takes up residence in a cabin in he woods to be close to Ms. Mary. He's dreaming one night and is awakend by a woman's screams. The weird thing about these screams is the fact that she calls to him by name. As you can imagine this was quite unsettling for him. He searches frantically for the woman in the woods and what he finds is very frightening.
Silence has been in training since the age of nine. That's when The Master began using fear and pain to control her. As a corrective tool in her instruction, beatings and other disturbed methods are used. On her graduation day, he loses control and beats her half to death. She screams for Solomon to come and recue her.
Wow! Desecrating Solomon is one twisted, creepy and macabre book that I could not put down. The story starts out nice and easy. It was graduation day and Silence was excited and nervous, not knowing what expect from Master. She wanted to please him. And in a blink of an eye, the pace picks up as Master starts to lose his grip on his control. The next thing you know is that your heartbeat starts to increase and you grip your reader a little tighter--you fear for her just like she fears him. He is cruel and perverted. Fearing that she was about to die, she prays for Solomon. Ok, at this point you take a breath and breathe a little easier because surely Solomon is going to resue her. Poor unsuspecting Solomon has no idea what he is going to find. And that's where I stop so that you can find out for yourself. Yeah, this story is a cliff-hanger and much like this story, Lucian Bane has a twisted sense of humor, LOL. But that's part of the reason why we love his work so much. I really enjoyed reading this edge-of-your seat story and look forward to the next installation.

I caught my mouth hanging open during a majority of the time I was reading.
The world the author creates is terrifying and secluded. The characters are fascinating and extremely deep.
This book is extremely dark. Its a brilliant mix beautiful romance and excruciating horror.
I highly recommend giving it a read.
Solomon is such a strong Hero with a pure heart
Chaos a Heroine physically and psychologically abused yet still strong
Together they fight the evil
A Town living under a curse
Both captured by a sadistic evil Maniac
You will feel this amazing story deep down in your soul
This is totally a Masterpiece that Mr. Lucian Bane wrote
If you like romance, evil, curse and horror , than this is a must have Book .
Because you get all this in one story and soooo much more
Wouldn’t have it any other way.
Master of Dark Erotica is Lucian Bane.
Going straight on to the 2nd.
I feel like I have been waiting on this book for a life time, the snippets, the teasers had dragged me in, hooked me and not for filled the craving for Solomon! However last night the teasing was over, I finally got my hands on it, and the torment still didn't stop!
I finished reading at 6:15 this morning and I've had book hangovers before but this was a whole new level, I found myself trapped within the woods of West Virginia just wondering around trying to piece together the insanely what lays here. Right now I am a crazy train of emotions.
Each time Lucian releases a new book I think how can it possibly get any better than the brilliance that has come before it, however in this case I was so awfully wrong. He has truly went to the next level with Desecrating Solomon (the first in the Desecrating series), I was captured and consumed.
Lucian has written this story in such a way that I felt like I was there watching what was going on around me, I was experiencing everything with them, every emotion, every moment!
I was hooked and pulled I from the very beginning, page after page I could not stop wanting more, needing more!! The twists, the turns and the emotional battles all of which are so unpredictable, had me shocked, had me screaming and almost had my kindle take flight and I loved every single second of it all.
Solomon and Chaos are your primary characters and my gosh what characters they are indeed;
Solomon has definitely become my most favourite. He is strong and yet full of kindness, he has a brilliant sense of humour that he can deliver perfectly in difficult situations. His protective nature is strong, his giving heart and undeniable innocent. All of which captivates you so much more!
Chaos is sheltered, uniquely different and determined but there behind the brokenness that she does not realists, is a strong willed women! Chaos has had many names, all with a strong message, unique and powerful. However within the depths of hell, will we come to realise that Chaos is in fact what she may bring or will she find a new name to fit her burning personality.
The secondary characters in this book are incredible and every bit as powerful as Solomon and Chaos! My, my Miss Mary what can I say about her, she is amazingly quaint! She may be an elderly women but she knows her mind isn't afraid to speak it, she is strong and full of sass.
Mad Man Jimmy; I'm still not sure of what to make of this man. He seems to be full of wise and knowledgeable information. He stays away from human interaction, every one thinks he is crazy but you know what they say about the crazy ones. 'Crazy people are considered man by the rest of the society only because their intelligence isn't understood'
The Luna Hills Trans Asylum what a deliciously creepy place, it's such a normal almost beautiful name for a place that should just scream 'Run, crazy lay behind these doors'. The terrifying unexpected things that are playing out before us is peek through the curtains dreading and so very intriguing.
There are far more unanswered questions than answers that will leave you wondering until the second book. This tail is left on a cliffhanger and oh my beating heart what a cliffhanger it is, you are deliciously cruel Mr.Bane. It will drive me to insanity waiting, I will be checking myself into The Luna Hills during this time.
I recommend is book in the highest that I can, a five isn't enough for the standards that are within this book! So if you like thrilling, pulse racing, terrifying romances then this is the book for you! I cannot spoil this read for you, it's a must have, go and see just how addicting it is for yourself.
Thank you for sharing Lucian!
