    I'm giving these 4 stars because they are really nice and colors are very cute. But they are just too big for what I need them: adjustable face masks. I ordered these because a reviewer said that the hole is 3mm, which is what I've been using (6mmx3mm beads) but that is incorrect. The hole on these beads is 4mm, which is a huge difference when it comes to the overall circumference. Two strands of flat 1/4" elastic will slide with enough resistance (see picture with green ribbon), defeating the purpose of properly adjustable face masks. Plus, they are too bulky for behind the ears and hurt after a while; I sell handmade masks, and test many different patterns and materials for the purpose of making sure that they are comfortable for the wearer. I hope this helps.
