I got these to put in frosting, as freeze-dried fruit is not easy to find in my local stores. They're slightly pricier than getting anything similar in stores, but for the sake of convenience this is a fairly decent deal. I really like that it has no preservatives or anything else, and although I've never cared for eating freeze dried fruit, my daughter has been eating them since babyhood & loves it. There was a bit of powder in the bottom of the bag, but since I intended to pulverize them anyway that was just an added bonus, or it would've gone great in my smoothies. I mainly use it in baking, and the flavor is fantastic-- I made a strawberry frosting with these & everyone commented on how fresh the berry flavor was. I'm quite pleased with this and will probably be stocking up on other berries in this brand for a variety in flavor & colors. It's the only way I incorporate fruit in frosting now, as it's so much easier than having to boil down fruit or deal with frosting being too liquid, etc.-- not to mention that it's a great way to color your food naturally.

I am impressed with this product. I am a terrible stress eater, and can go through chips or candy very fast when anxious. This product arrived today. I find the texture interesting. It is similar to a crunchy popcorn like caramel corn. You have to chew these a little bit so they will rehydrate before you can swallow. This gives me a crunch that I like, and it really slows down consumption, yet it is chewy. I like the texture. The taste is very tart and the cherry flavor comes through. Sometimes when I stress eat, I want a particular flavor, often something sour/tart. So, this is going to be a wonderful product for me. A tart, but tasty flavor, a good crunch, and it slows down consumption. It is the perfect snack, and the PERFECT diet food. I would probably keep an eye on small children eating this as it is a little hard to swallow if you don't give it time to rehydrate. I

I’m thinking that the crisp crunch I’m looking for would be more pronounced if these were berry chips rather than whole berries. My 3 year olds eat these like potato chips! I do limit their quantity or this big bag would be gone in 20 min. Sometimes they have them for snacks or in their cereal. My husband and I love them as well.
Freeze dried is the way to go! They retain the most intense flavoring and they are light, crispy and airy. I've enjoyed Just Tomatoes products for years but really appreciate the wholesomeness on another level now that I'm a mom. I love knowing what goes into my little ones bodies is good for them.
Now, if their was a way to make these a little more cost effective we'd consume a lot more than we do!

I previously purchased a single pouch to try these out. We loved them! Nice and crunchy, and amazingly sweet.
So then I purchased this bulk pack (pack of 6 pouches). We noticed quickly something was different, but couldn't quite figure it out. As a couple more days passed, they got worse. And now we know what the problem is. None of these 6 pouches have the 'dry pack' in them to keep them dry (the first order, the single pouch, DID have a dry pouch in it). Now all of these 6 pouches are chewy, sticky, moist, and clumped together. Not as yummy. Trying to figure out how else to contact the seller. In the meantime, we are not pleased.

Late home? Unexpected guests? FROZEN assets? Just vegetables of all sorts and even fruit: tomatoes, corn, peas! Strawberries and bananas! I was very wary of trying JUST whatever products. I Purchased the mixed vegetables they came in a beautiful green bag resealable easy to open and I just put my glass Chinese soup scoop in it. Whenever I had something that would benefit from additional colorful vegetables I JUST put a scoop or two into the pot and wow! The dried vegetables and fruit are JUST delicious! My mouthwatering dishes just became more so! I was very interested in trying the other products and I am so very peased! I mean pleased. I add dried corn to chili and corn bread and chowders. Mixed veg to soups, rice and pot roast. Go ahead and try it. If Karen's in your kitchen you can bet the family is dining IN!

As with the Just Tomatoes Organic Just Peaches, I was unhappy with this product. I very carefully read the description when I found this product because I know that there is a difference between "dried" fruit and "freeze dried" fruit. I love the former and abhor the latter. No where in the description did it say that the strawberries were freeze dried. On top of that, the photo of the bag, that was used with the description is too small to see the words in smaller print on the bag. Perhaps if I had seen that they were crunchy, I would have been forewarned that they were not what I was looking for and I would not have purchased this item. Alas, I did not see the print and as I said, there was nothing in the description that indicated that they were freeze dried. I immediately called customer service and explained my problem & though legally they couldn't accept returns of food items, in this instance I did feel that I was due a refund given the lack of information provided with this product. Fortunately the customer service rep agreed and I got my money back. It was almost $20 and I put it to good use and ordered "dried strawberries" which I did find elsewhere.
