Review

Brilliant and illuminating! I can't say enough good things about this book! Jeanette Bronee is the first person I have read who actually explains why and how it is the body hordes food when stressed. This in and of itself was a breakthrough for me! On top of this brilliant information, she gives us eating suggestions and powerful calming strategies to help along the path of nourishing our bodies and our spirits. I am particularly happy that her food suggestions are whole food and organic based, and do not involve a tiring assortment of smoothies and rigid restrictions. I am grateful for all her insight, and consider this work so much more than a diet book. --By Wynnefred on April 7, 2015

From the Author

EAT TO FEEL FULL is a great little handbook that you can carry along in your bag to read while commuting and use as a reference when shopping. Packed with digestible information, this little guide-book is a useful companion to stop dieting and instead learn to eat for nourishment and to feel full, -which ironically is the switch we need to make to lose weight in a sustainable way.

EAT TO FEEL FULL helps the reader not only know what to eat to feel nourished, but also how to change the eating habits that otherwise get us stuck in constant dieting. The book is an introduction to how eating real food is a sustainable way to eat to be healthy, feel better and lose weight. It gives simple to understand guidelines that teaches the reader to chose for themselves so instead of being on a diet plan they can create a plan of eating that works in their daily life. The secret clue to losing weight is to master our appetites and EAT TO FEEL FULL teaches the reader how to do exactly that. What to eat to feel full, how to choose foods that are nourishing and why we tend to lose our way instead of the weight. The key is to change our habits, not just what we eat. This book show us how in a non-dogmatic easy to implement Path for Life way.

In Eat to Feel Full Jeanette Bronee writes about keeping yourself nourished as a lifestyle choice, not a diet. Her book is easy to understand yet filled with information, solutions and motivation to create a healthy, satisfying food plan that is quick to shop for, easy to prepare and delicious to eat. Before reading this book I had been trying desperately to gain energy and lose weight. Following Jeanette's recommendations I am able to do that without ever weighing myself, measuring food, or counting calories - which is more liberating than I imagined. There are no gimmicks in this book and no specific products to buy - there is clear information presented in a quick, easy to read format - great for individuals and families As I read, I felt like I was reading a note from a knowledgeable and caring friend. Highly recommend to all and would make a great gift.

This book synthesizes the essentials of how to stay healthy and nourished and packages it in a purse-sized guide that accompanies me when I shop for food and prepare meals. Her recipes are super simple which, for someone like me who doesn't enjoy cooking AND wants to eat deliciously and cost-effectively, is a Godsend. She explains in simple terms the what and why of eating healthfully and in a way that nourishes body, mind and soul. The guidance she provides about forming and maintaining healthy eating habits are easy to apply. And the book itself is beautiful.

Jeanette's informative, handy little book is loaded with applications to change not only how we eat but how we look at food and how it relates to our bodies. It's such a positive read before you go to bed at night.

At first I agreed with a lot with the author but became increasingly irritated with the amount of disingenuous statements being made to try to convince readers to agree with her.

And then as the book continued it became more obvious that this is a very rigid person with a very narrow view of food and not a good enough understanding of science. Not the type of person that I wanted to buy a book from. I had been searching for more of an intuitive eating book and this was suggested but it is nothing close to a mentally healthy approach towards food.
