I marinate my vegetables with olive oil and spices and place them inside the garlic roaster. I put the garlic roasterinside a large crock pot and cook them on low for 2 - 2.5 hours. They come out perfect every time. The aroma is incredible!

But be careful getting it out if the oven, it will be very hot and let it cool completely before washing it.

.....incredibly well. The first time I used one, I baked a bulb for a batch of spaghetti. When it came out of the oven, I decided to try a clove. Well I ended up just munching the whole bulb's worth of cloves and had to bake a second one for the sauce. I bought this particular one as it holds up to three cloves. I am not at all disappointed with this one.
I did however, also buy one made of cast iron and that one works even better. It takes longer to preheat (in fact, you don't preheat for this one) and you turn down the heat after a certain amount of time. So, the cast iron ones are a bit more complicated to use, are heavy and more expensive, but it you can find one and are a garlic connoisseur like I am, I'd recommend that.
That being said, this one works fine and is perfect for family use, being able to bake three at a time.

PS. Try experimenting with spices.
