I love this product! They make cleaning a breeze. So far I’ve only used the grade 00 but I can’t wait to order the others. This grade is supposedly best for polishing various metals and repairing burn marks on wood and leather; however, I tried one with a little Dawn soap to polish up my faucets, stainless steel sink, pots and pans and these surpassed my expectations, without a lot of elbow grease! All I can say is - where have these been all my life. Get some you won’t be disappointed.

The thing is, once I've cleaned all my coffee cups, I'm left with a used steel wool pad, which has no other use in my kitchen. So it just sits on the back of the sink turning to rust.

The traditional pre-soaped steel wool pads leave behind such a thick soap layer, it's an extra job just to get all of their soap rinsed off. I prefer these 00-soapless steel wool pads to pre-soaped pads, because I can apply just enough soap for the job, and then the soap is easy to rinse off.

There were cases where these 00-steel wool pads were used and then sat at the back of the sink for a couple of weeks before I needed them again. The pre-soaped pads, when they get rusty and I try to use them again, they always give me steel-wool-splinters. Using these 00-steel wool pads again releases a lot of rust, but for some reason, they don't give me any splinters. I'm not sure why, but it's an additional motivation to avoid the pre-soaped pads.
