I’ve only had this tool for a few weeks and it’s fantastic. Well made and useful for so many things. Transferring chopped fresh vegetables from cutting board to cooking vessel; scooping cooked foods from pans, splitting dough. The little sides make this useful to scooped items don’t fall off.

Shelf Scraper has rails on sides
I have used other shelf scrapers, but I like this one from Rachael Ray because it has side protection to avoid stuff falling off the two sides. It also has ridges on the handle to improve your grip. Also, the handle is above the scraper blade which allows you to get down closer to the work surface. Finally, for $8 how could you go wrong? The Dexter-Russell Sani-Safe 6 x 3 Dough Cutter/Scraper recommended by Cook's Country Kitchen has many lower reviews than the Rachael Ray Shelf Scraper and costs twice as much. To me, it was a no-brainer to purchase the Rachael Ray version. I liked it enough that I also purchased one for my daughter's household as well.

I do a lot of chopping in my kitchen. I am constantly cutting up fruits, vegetables, and herbs. I got tired of using the back of my knife to push the chopped vegetables into a pile, so that I could move them to a pan. That can be a little time consuming when you have a lot of stuff. That was the main reason I decided to buy the Rachael Ray bench scraper. I bought this in April of 2020, so I have had it just a few months shy of 4 years. The taller sides hold more food, and make transferring it much faster. The ribbed handle helps to keep a firm grip on the bench scraper. It is dishwasher safe, but it does scratch easily. I always put it in the dishwasher, and so far I have not had any issues with rust. Overall, it is a very handy tool to have in the kitchen.
