The kit includes most of what i needed, but I had to buy nylon hex spacers for mounting the flight controller after the kit came because I assumed there would be some included, but there were none. There were all the screws needed (and some extra) but no spacers. There is some piece of an adapter that comes in the kit that i can only assume is a battery connector, but I opted to buy some XT60 connectors because that seems like the new standard.
Once I got it all assembled, the kit is very very sturdy. It does not feel like its going to break easy, and after 6 days of flying and probably 20 crashes, it does not seem to have any structural issues. Ive cartwheeled it in tall grass plenty of times, and while the plastic props I bought can get bent easily, the frame holds up great. I did break a small piece of it off in the back by flying backwards into a house, but even so its still very sturdy. The carbon fiber blades that come with it are good quality, and they fly much steadier than the plastic gemfans i bought, but i was able to break one pretty easily nonetheless. They hold up great for crashes, but don't let them hit anything hard like concrete because they can break more easily.
One of the downsides of this kit that i didn't like is that the holes for the motor were not drilled out enough. I had to drill all of the motor holes out more myself. Not only was it too narrow for the screw to fit, the holes weren't tall or wide enough to accommodate the screw hole patterns on the motors. Be prepared to have to drill the motor mounts. And i was able to loose the dampening camera mount easily so i'd say don't fly with it on unless you are going to use it.
Everything in the picture comes in the kit, including the two wire pieces and the two heat shrink cables. I was a little concerned that it might not come with a power distribution board because it was not listed in the description so i bought another one anyways, but i can confirm that it comes with one inside the kit. All in all, this was a great buy and im really happy with it. I mean, you can't beat the price, this has the same stuff that kits that cost 50 dollars more have.
It has a good light chassis, good motors, good ESC's and a better than average flight controller (CC3D).
If you bought all the bits separately it would add up to more.
It's pretty much the same kit as you can get on Hobbyking and Bangood etc. But with those you will pay $20 postage too.
I decided I wanted to do FPV 250 racing, having never flown before. I have discovered that this is akin to deciding to learn to fly
a plane and getting into an F16. If you're a newbie you may want to look elsewhere first...
Be aware that the only instructions are a single over-photocopied sheet of paper. However there are loads of videos and
websites describing the build. It is not tricky if you can wield a soldering iron and a screwdriver.
The only negatives with the included parts are:
- The power distribution board (PDB). This had outer holes which matched the chassis, but inner holes that don't match the flight controller.
So you can't stack them up. I ended up not using the PDB at all, just soldering the wires to an off-cut of copper board.
- The motors need M3 screws and the motor arms aren't designed for that. You need a Dremel or similar to open up the holes, which is a pain.
Once built you need to setup the flight controller. It uses software called Openflight which is quite friendly, but you will need to research if you're a newbie. Make sure all of your motors are in the right positions and spin the right way.
The thing I had most trouble with was working out which propellers were which. The included ones are hard as nails carbon fiber, and really too hardcore for a learner. I bought a load of cheap gemfans and decided to break those instead. Make sure they are in the right positions or it will simply flip over when you try and lift off.
Once your setup you need find a BIG empty open space to play with this. It is very fast and pretty scary for a newbie like me. I broke a lot of propellers and one of the motors gave up too. The seller kindly sent me replacement motors when I asked.
In summary if you're experienced you will already know this is good value and is fast. If you're a newbie I'd recommend starting on something more sedate.
I've mothballed this quad and am now learning on a Hubsan X4. This is far more friendly and easier to control. It has the advantage of using the same controls as this, but is in a lighter package so that you can fly indoors.

I had an ESC that developed a fault and the seller sent a replacement out straight away and since the new one arrived its been fine.
It handles pretty smoothly and is very quick but you will need to practise slow flying for a while to get the hang of it.
The only down side for me was no instructions came with my kit but after looking on line (youtube) all was clear.
You do need several items to get the drone flying:
Transmitter/reciever
Lipo battery/ charger
2mm bullet connectors (for ESC to motor connections)
heat shrink (to cover bullet connectors)
soldering iron and tool kit.
Libre Pilot software (free)
PC
Small USB cable to program the flight controller (i got mine with the mobius cam).
I really enjoyed building the kit and put a mobius cam on the top to record my flights.
Well done to the seller for sending a replacement ESC out with no fuss
