Very Nice Lens
5 Stars
Very Nice Lens
I use a Sony A7R4 and have some very expensive Sony lenses but this lens is a lot of fun to use so I find myself going for it a lot and it's crystal clear if the settings are right. Not electrically connected to the camera so it takes some experimentation but when you get it it takes great fun pictures. Hint: Use a low ISO when possible and infinity focus for most landscape type shots

I take mostly landscape photos with a Nikon D810, so the lack of autofocus really doesn't bother me, I just set it to infinity and forget about it. I used this lens a lot for astro photography with great results. For what I need it to do I would definitely recommend this lens. Its also built really well is not totally plastic.

So first off it’s manual focus manual aperture lens which takes a bit getting used to as when I look through viewfinder I find it hard to see if it’s sharp where I want it to be .
I’ve got used to auto focus .
But I love the effects you get with it I use it with full frame canon 5D Iv the results are amazing full 180 if I point camera straight ahead shooting portrait mode the bottom of my legs and feet are in the shot .
I reckon I can get some great shots with this to be honest , it’s a well built lens and came well packaged up with a pouch in the box.
It’s early days but for the money I don’t think you will better this I guess it’s great for street photography which is something I would like to try it with
5* from me
Thanks

Great fisheye lens. The images are sharper than I was expecting. For an f2.8 lens, this is a great bargain compared to the OEM alternative. It is manual focus, but for landscape shots I tend not to have to play with focus too much anyways. Nice color rendering. I love the unique look the fisheye images produce compared to more traditional focal lengths. The lens seems solid and sturdy. Used in Nikon D750 FX.
