Colour Tone Different From Pictures, But, A Good Lipstick!
The reviews on Amazon are generally very informative, but, at times can be deceptive. I gifted this lipstick to a friend of mine, giving weight to the highly favourable reviews and she is not very impressed with it. It turned out that the shade, which I found on my laptop screen, tuned out to be saturated than it actually is. In layman terms, the shade which got delivered is darker than it is shown on Amazon.I would have easily deducted more stars out of it but taking this blunder as a "technological hinderance", I turned soft on the ratings.Apart from the colour issue, the Lakme Absolute is an absolute hit. It is smooth and does not dry up the lips. It fairs quite decently and sticks along for the rest of the day, once applied.Those who are purchasing lipstick from Amazon should take a note that and see if it is broken, have been used and repacked or not. Do not stuff it and open after, say, 10 days, then you will not get the option to replace the damaged product.

When it came...it looked fab
I tried it on....again fab colour
But it's too transferrable
I don't understand...the one I tried in the shop stayed long...and this one...
One wipe with a hand and all of it comes out
As it I never applied such a dark colour
Plus the smell
Just like the 50-100 rs lipstick smells
I don't think absolute smells the same
And I think it's kinda itchy too
I think I got the fake one
M not sure
But I love the colour
Cosmetics online is too risky to buy.
But the store bought did d same... so I guess the prob isn't with real or fake...it's with Lakme...the lipstick aren't long lasting at all
But since I totally love the colour I ll keep it.

Recieved the same product but manufacturing date was Nov 2018 and now the product expires in one year. For 800 rps, I got expiry date of only one year. The seller didn't display the manufacturing date on the page and its a flaw. Please make sure to check the manufacturing date before purchasing.

I could have walked into a mall and would have got a recently manufactured same product. Disappointed with the manufacturing date.

My complextion is wheatish. This color looks great on me. I bought the pink glam shade in matte. The product lasted for nearly all day, and survived two meals. Its a bit pain in the butt to remov as some color really stays behind even after using a remover (i use Maybelline remover). Overall a good product and a must have shade.
