These self-standing milk storage bags are freezer safe so that you can save milk for your baby to be fed when you are not around. They come in an innovative design and a leak-proof double zipper seal that make the process much more efficient. The baby milk storage bags come available in 25-count, 50-count and 100-count packs, and they easily fit most disposable bottle holders. The bags can go into the freezer standing up, and the volume markings on the front allow you to see how much is in each bag. They thaw easily, making meal time quick and easy. These freezer storage bags also feature a space to write the date on the bag so that you know how old the milk is.

I can’t really speak for the measurements on the bag because I didn’t really use them... since the weight of breastmilk itself can vary depending on a number of factors like how much water you drank or fat you consumed that day. I weighed my pumped milk with a small digital kitchen scale and used those weights for my ounce measurements.
I never once spilled milk while pouring it into the bag for storage...I held the bag in one hand with the top lip/spout folded down and out of the way, and poured the milk in from the pump bottle with the other hand. Zipped it up and laid it flat for freezing to optimize storage space. Done, zero issues.
The most I ever stored in one bag was about 6 ounces, but the majority of my frozen bags held 5 ounces exactly because I estimated that was how much my baby would be eating in one sitting by the time he was 6 months. It also made the most efficient use of the capacity of the bags without pushing their capacity limits, and I could fit 11 five ounce bags snugly into a gallon size freezer ziplock bag (I call them milk bricks), for optimized freezer storage space. By the time I was done I had saved about 48 milk bricks in my freezers.
My son is now exclusively drinking my frozen breastmilk, so we have already thawed about 150 of the bags. We place the frozen bag in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes to allow it to thaw and warm, and then pour from the bag into his bottle. The flap/spout at the top of the bag allows us to pour without spilling one drop. Again. Zero leaks during the thawing process.
Honestly, these bags were perfect... we definitely put them to the test and they held up beautifully. They were one of the most affordable options available that from my experience ensured the quality I was looking for, and when you’re saving your precious liquid gold that you worked SO HARD to make, you want the most reliable option you can find!

100% recommend!
Honeysuckle breast milk storage bags: terrible. More than half of these broke during shipping whereas in the same shipment other bag types held up well. I would avoid these.
Lansinoh breast milk storage bags: second worst. About 1/4-1/3 of these typically broke/leaked upon shipping. It is not hard to tell they are the flimsiest. P.S. If you use these, a tip I found to help thaw them is to put each bag in a zip lock so it the bag leaks you can still use what stays in the bag (versus what leaks into the ziplock).
Medela breast milk storage bags: ok, not great. Hold up better than Honeysuckle and Lansinoh. About 1/6 - 1/5 of these would break/leak. They are also more difficult to pour out of and tend to lose a little milk in the pouring process (trick is to pour fast out of these).
Ameda breast milk storage bags: never used them as they come with twist ties and not ziplock seals.
Dr. Brown's breast milk storage bags: work great. never had one break. stand up well on their own. very easy to pour out of. Recommended except there is an option just as good and cheaper.
NUK/Gerber Seal N Go Disposible Liner: the winner! One bag out of very many has leaked. Stayed intact even when other bags did not survive. Good to pour out of (not as easy as Dr. Brown's but good enough). Thaw well. Better priced than Dr. Brown's (which is why we went with these).
I've used this brand for my second baby and, let me tell you, they are a night and day difference to the Medela ones! Not only are they cheaper. They fit more milk (if you want to store more), or if you stick to 4-6 ounces they freeze much flatter and take up less room in the freezer. They freeze flat on their own. I found with the Medela ones, because of the stand-up design, I had to squish them between two flat objects (I had the compression storage box) to achieve a desirable "flat" shape - which was often askew and didn't store well anyway. The plastic on the NUK/Gerber brand seems very durable and I love that there are 2 seals, just in case! We went through 2 boxes of these and not a single leak (except for the one my husband dropped on the floor). Additionally, I didn't encounter any strange milk smells from using these bags. I highly recommend!
