Packaging:
The packaging was great, despite the box having a decent bit of damage from shipping, nothing inside was even remotely damaged thanks to the thick cardboard box and fairly hefty styrofoam it comes in.
Build:
The panel I received was flawless, it didn’t have a single dead pixel or scratch. The overall build quality is very good, the bezels are a little large for a fairly high-end monitor but they aren’t at all intrusive and they don’t seem out of place due to the overall size of the (32”) monitor. I also really appreciate that the bezels are matte and not glossy which stops them from holding onto fingerprints, unlike many other monitors I have owned. The stand is strong and feels good to adjust and move. The stand is also very adjustable and the only thing which is a little annoying about it is that it lets the monitor wiggle a bit when you jostle the desk. The stand also takes up a lot of space compared to any other monitor stand I have used before. Because of the area behind the monitor taken up by the stand I recommend planning on having roughly a foot to fourteen inches of open desk space behind where you want the panel to be, or else you will end up with the monitor a bit too close for comfort.
Panel:
The panel is hands down the best part of the monitor, and is easily my personal favorite out of any I have owned. It has top end brightness that will have you going blind at an early age if you’re too close (which I promise is a good thing), mixed with those deep blacks of HDR allow its signature contrast to stand out despite not being the best out there. Color is beautiful, coming with great accuracy out of the box and a very wide color gamut, though a bit of tinkering in the settings is required to tune the presets to better fit your use. The 32” panel has been reported to use backlight strobing which although imperceptible, does tend to cause eye strain to those who are particularly sensitive to it. I personally did not experience any eye strain from the backlight strobing. The major caveat to this monitor is that you can’t use HDR with the 1ms response mode. I really didn’t care about that at all and knew it before I purchased the monitor. I use HDR and freesync (which now works with most new Nvidia cards but double check yours) and the response times are completely fine, usually closer to 2-5ms.
Hardware:
It is essential that your PC can consistently push at least 120 FPS or this monitor will have all kinds of issues, such as visible flickering caused by freesync. Don’t even go close to this thing with an HDMI cable.
Conclusion:
This monitor is great, if it fits your use case and personal preference. It gets so much right that it’s easier to just mention the potential issues: watch out for the space requirement with the stand and make sure that the PC you’re using is capable of sufficiently powering this monitor and it should serve you well.

First off, I am using this for everyday use, but I work in IT in front of monitors all day long so comfort and clarity is key. This monitor is being used in my home office. Originally I bought a 27" 1080p but it was terrible and I realized it was too big for my setup. I read that curved screens help with that so I ordered this one.
The build quality is very nice. The stand was a little PITA to put on (screws didn't want to go in). But once it was together, this is the best monitor stand I've ever seen. Height wise, it will go all the way down to about an inch off the desktop. That is really nice for people like me that sit lower. It also comes with a VESA adapter which is a nice touch. Also in the box is an HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB 3 cable.
Picture quality is also very nice. No dead pixels. Very bright... So much that I had to turn brightness down from 100 to 40. The resolution is perfect. Sure it's 2k, but it's 144hz and very sharp. No blurry text. No screen tearing. My old Radeon r270 picked it up and adjusted to 2k at 144hz just fine. I have not ran any games yet since I rarely play on PC these days, but I tested video in VLC and it was really good. I really want to get work to buy me two of these.
It has DisplayPort, HDMI, and a mini USB 3 hub which is great for connecting a keyboard and mouse. One note: I tried both HDMI and DisplayPort (DP). DP is the clear the winner here. HDMI had blurry fonts but DP was perfect so be sure you are using that if you can (no converters). I also tried the light ring on the back. Nothing fancy here. Just some ambient lighting which can help with eye strain at night but it's not really bright enough to do that. It turns off automatically when the monitor sleeps. It's more for show than anything else.
Overall, this is an awesome monitor.
A few notes on install: I have 20+ years of IT experience so I skipped the instructions and went straight to putting it together. Probably should have looked it over first because there is a ring that covers the mount and you can only put it on from the bottom of the stand but before you screw the base in. So be sure you put that thing on first. Also, the stand looks like it's VESA, but you have to slide a tab into a slot before screwing it down. Also, the threaded holes can be tricky to line up so if they aren't screwing in, adjust it and keep at it.
There are 3 save profiles you can configure to 3 buttons making it easy to switch when certain games aren't compatible with freesync or the ultimate engine or if you just want to easily switch configurations. I never knew I needed until now.
Even my typing speed improved with the fast response time on this monitor, which I wasn't expecting at all. As others have mentioned the stand itself takes up a large amount of space which is inconvenient but the build quality is really good unlike my previous Samsung monitor stand. The usb hub is also great for extending the range you can be from your computer by routing your keyboard and mouse through the monitor.
Overall I am super impressed with this monitor and would recommend it to anyone wanting to step up their visual experience.
Top reviews from other countries
1: Screen colors, 8.5/10. Samsung panel in the gaming market just went next level with this panel design. Since it's a VA panel it has a contrast ratio of 3000:1 which is nice for beautiful colors and compare to other VA panel it has a SUSTAIN brightness of 350cd/m2 which is quite good for a VA panel. Brightness is directly proportional to obtain vivid color and color accuracy. The sRGB Coverage is pretty impressive, the Adobe RGB isn't bad and the NTSC 1976 either. Overall, if you do not need professional color accuracy stuff, it is great enough for this criteria to be ignore by now.
2: Screen movement, 9/10. Since it's a VA panel I expected at least a little bit of either Ghosting, Flickering, Tearing or lower pixel response time to be pretty significant. I WAS OUTRAGEOUSLY WRONG! This puppy has VERY little or none of these issues. Very little input lag and response time, good enough for competitive gaming (considering it's a VA panel this is almost a first time deal breaker) The only thing that can beat it is a high end IPS panel or a good TN panel. The difference between a high end TN panel and this screen is almost negligible for low, medium and hardcore gamer. Only pro would maybe mind.
3: Flaw, 9/10 . It has pretty low viewing, it suffer from back-light bleeding on the edge of the screen (if you don't know what it is go look a video) but it is only noticeable if the screen display a single color and the darker it is, the easier it is to spot it. I am not quite sure if it's cause from the low viewing angle or it is actually back-light bleeding, but it looks like it. I only notice it when the whole screen display black color otherwise I don't notice it. My screen came with a shift screw hole on the bottom right for the stand by 1.5mm which cause me trouble screwing down the VESA mount adapter.
4: Overall, 9/10. It is G-Sync compatible even if it's a FreeSync2 monitor and out of the box it went G-Sync enable with my RTX 2080, which help vs Tearing and Flickering. Support VESA mount 100 X 100. It has different 3 firmware that you can customize and switch with a single button. The menu is nice to use and you can calibrate your color accuracy if you have the right equipment/program. The fact that it's a curve panel helps for viewing angle and allow for a better multiple screen setup. This is one of the best 2K, 16:9, 144Hz, 27" Almost no flaw monitor on the market currently. Samsung killed it! And for some reason this monitor has passed over everyone, I don't understand why.
other thought: This monitor shouldn't be buy for it HDR support. This is not as good as an other HDR 600 monitor.
Pros:
1. The colours are vibrant due to Samsung's QLED technology.
2. For me, Freesync 2 works well with my GTX 1070 due to Nvidia's recent driver support for Freesync, currently limited to GTX 10 series and RTX 20 series graphics cards. I enjoyed smooth gaming experience without screen tearing or stuttering.
3. Fantastic curved screen !
4. Optional wall mounting bracket, 100mm x 100mm VESA is included
5. HDMI, DisplayPort and USB 3.0 passthrough cables are included which is great !
Con:
1. I only have one stuck pixel. Hopefully, no more show up.
