This is such a great series! Within the world of organized crime, power is everything. The O'Malleys is a series of books involving the O'Malley children. Their father has raised them all with a stern hand and has plans for each of his children. The boys will run the business when he steps down. Having daughters is advantageous to marrying off to strengthen his family's power and building his empire. Their purpose is to forge alliances where and when needed.

Though his children are adults, they are resigned to their fates but they don't give in easily. Each story shows the O'Malley siblings coming into their own, finding their own strength and love along the way. In this series Katee Roberts doesn't deliver a typical mafia romance in each book. She delivers a epic saga where even the women grow powerful in their own rite. The females are far from weak and they equal the strength of the women that are willing to drop to their knees for the love and support they can provide them.

Though each book can be read as a stand-along and thoroughly enjoyed, I HIGHLY recommend reading them in order. It enhances the stories for a much pleasurable reading experience.
