The InSinkErator HOT150 Instant Hot Water Dispenser System is the newest and most affordable addition to the Invite series. So simple and useful, once you use it, you will love it instantly.

With near-boiling water at your fingertips, you can enjoy the convenience of instantly preparing gourmet coffee and hot tea, steaming vegetables in a flash, warming baby bottles in seconds, removing candle wax from candle holders with ease, cleaning without the use of harsh chemicals, removing stubborn lids and labels, and so much more.

The HOT150 instant hot water dispenser features a modern Satin Nickel finish hot water faucet and 750-watt, 2/3-gallon stainless steel tank that delivers near-boiling water. An easy-adjustable thermostat allows you to control the temperature from 160 degrees F to 210 degrees F.

The HOT150 system is designed for do-it-yourself installation, with no special plumbing required. Convenient tool-free tank connections and dry-start protection provide easy set-up and peace of mind. The system requires an unswitched AC power outlet, dedicated control valve with compression fitting, and T-fitting. The faucet requires a standard 1-1/4-inch to 1-1/2-inch diameter hole for installation with a maximum counter thickness of 2 inches.

We had an insinkerator instant hot water system in our last kitchen and when we moved I had to get another one. I use it all the time! Our hot water tank is in our attic and I have to run the water a minute or so for it to get hot. This is instant. I use it for everything, from soaking a dish in sink in hot water and detergent, to a cup of tea, and even making my hummingbird nectar (whihc i no longer have to boil). Best invention ever, and we had our other Insinkerator over 10 years with no issues. So glad we have one now in this house.

I purchased this unit to replace the unit I had because it started spitting and sputtering hot water. I cannot complain because it lasted over 10 years. This new one installed in about 30 minutes. Unhooked the other and hooked this one up and away it went. Absolutely a must in ANY kitchen. I don't know how anyone can live without an Insinkerator hot water dispenser. They look good and work great, not to mention the instant hot water at your fingertips. Oh I forgot, the Insinkerator hot water does not have a nasty taste like some units. Love it!

This is our second hot temp, I like this one as it is quiet and also easier to turn on for hot water, don't have to push down on the top. Made very well! My plumber put it in so not sure if I can say it was easy to put in, it did say once you install if it drips a little, just keep it turned on for a bit and when you turn it off the slow drip will stop (happened to us). Great buy!

This is the 2nd unit we have purchased; the first unit was significantly cheaper 3 years ago. However, after the valve on the first unit stopped working it was easier to purchase a complete new unit with tank and valve assembly. We took out a 4 year Amazon warranty on this product, because it appears valving assemblies with all Insta-Hotwater units are short-lived.
Contact with MFG was courteous and efficient. They informed us that valving assemblies are available as stand-alone units, however, a search appears to suggest that stand-alone pricing is unnecessarily high. Hopefully MFG and customer service will address this concern.
For handy individuals considering an insta-hotwater dispenser it might be worthwhile to look for a small tank-less unit with a faucet valving assembly that can be repaired over time. This approach is less costly initially and over time.
This product is attractive looking, and easy to assemble, however initial and long-term pricing suggests MFG could benefit from responding do a few commonsense retooling.

The overall cheap plastic construction of the heater and the plumbing fittings on both the heater and the faucet leave much to be desired. Not many will care what it looks like under the sink and the faucet above the countertop is well made and nice looking, but the cheap hose fittings do not offer confidence in a long reliable service life. Also, unless you’ve got lots of room and mounting flexibility under the sink very close to where the faucet mounts, then count on less than a simple plug and play install. In particular the cheap hot water hose and cold water feed into the heater are questionable. For our install with a deep kitchen sink and disposal in the way, the hot water hose was simply too short. Seriously why can’t the cheap hoses provided be a few inches longer?! Fortunately the cheap plastic fitting for the hot water supply has a 1/4” compression fitting and will accept a 1/4” copper compression connection. However this requires cutting off the 1/4” copper tube to 1/4” hot water plastic tube fitting going into the faucet. There goes my faucet warranty, but it worked! On a positive note, InSinkErator does have a vent tube back to the heater tank so no spitting of hot water and both the flow rate and temperature of hot water is significantly better than other major designs.

This is beautiful and works very well. Our house is large and the regular hot water tank is far away, so it would take us two gallons of water before the water hot enough to wash the dishes. Living in a desert, we think about water savings all the time. The only glitch came when the plumber was unable to mount the tank close enough to the faucet to utilize the copper pipe that came with. SO -- be aware. Staircase thinking, we later thought that we could have built a little platform for the heater so it could be up higher --

We originally purchased this model during our kitchen remodel in 2009. It was very good, never gave us any problems. Operated perfectly for 11 years, which was amazing. Then April of 2020, the heater tank began leaking. We did not hesitate to purchase a replacement InSinkErator heater. Thinking the first one lasted 11 years, it was well worth the investment. 7 months later, on November 25th 2020, the day before Thanksgiving, the dispenser faucet started dripping, then by the end of the day, it was leaking a full stream. We had to turn off the water heater, and turn off the water supply to the heater. That afternoon I called InSinkErator customer service. After a 25-minute conversation / troubleshooting episode, customer service told me yes your faucet needs to be replaced I, and will be under warranty. On December 22nd 2020, we received the replacement faucet from InSinkErator. Since they did not have a service warranty company in my area, I gave them the name of the plumber who initially installed the unit the previous April. Since I received it just before Christmas, and InSinkErator was very slow at setting up the warranty agreement with the plumber to do the work, we were without the water heater until today, January 20th 2021. The plumber came, installed the replacement faucet and turned on the water, turned on the heater, and before the water was hot the replacement valve began leaking just like the first one. At that point I called InSinkErator customer service once again, and informed them of the issue. They were going to go through the long troubleshooting process again, when I interrupted them and told him this was a warranty replacement faucet from two months earlier. He told me that they could send out another replacement faucet, which would be the same style of the first two leaky faucets. Which by the way we're sealed and unrepairable. I told him, the only thing I would except was an upgraded faucet, A more well-designed faucet. Otherwise we would find a different water heater from a different manufacturer, have it installed and take the InSinkErator heater out and throw it in the trash. I then asked to speak to his supervisor, he said someone would call me within 24 hours. As of this writing I have not heard back from InSinkErator customer service.

Installation was straight forward but I wouldn't consider this a DIY install if you are not familiar with plumbing. I would recommend a dedicated shut off and circuit for this unit. I decided a install a dedicated filter to help minimize mineral build up in the unit and hopefully prolong the life. Water is a perfect temp for tea and other hot beverages. My kids and wife love the convenience.

Works great! This was easy to install but that was because we replaced the old one that started leaking after about 15 years of use. Therefore no plumber was required either! It's nice to have instant hot water for cooking!

Very easy and quick to install and produces lot of super hot almost boiling water. Excellent for making tea! You will probably need to make a trip to the hardware store to buy the correct fitting for the water connection though- it’s not included in the box. In spite of this it works so well that I still rate it at 5 stars. The finish and function of the included faucet are also both very, very good. It looks great!

Love this product. Only drawback is they last for 2-3 years and then need replacing. The unit works very well though and it is an important accessory in my kitchen
