Don’t get anything other than Butt Paste!

This keeps diaper rash to a minimum, and helps heal our kiddos up if they do get a nasty one. It comes out of the tube easy. We use a little applicator to spread it on, and it cleans off with baby wipes really easily. Clothing not so much however. We’ve gotten both the big tubs and the tubes of Butt Paste, and we recommend using the tubes because it’s easy to squirt out just a small amount, and it’s easy to store.

I have a 23-month-old son, and we’ve been using Boudreaux’s Butt Paste for almost 2 years. During that time, I’ve used a few other brands when I had to have something quick (in between tubes of Boudreaux’s!). The other brands seem more chalky, but Boudreaux’s is smooth, creamy, and thicker than the others I’ve tried. It seems to coat the skin better and lasts longer too, making it much more effective. The only problem I’ve had with Boudreaux’s is that after a while, it starts to separate, before the expiration date. This hasn’t really been an issue though, as shaking and sort of massaging it in the tube helps to mix it up again.

Doesn't Burn Provides Some Comfort

I have suffered some very intense itching that has lasted for about 2.5 years. I have also used an entire pharmacy of creams, ointments, gels, etc. that have only sometimes provided temporary relief. The itching is so bad it keeps me awake and I think it's gotten worse since I had a death in the family. I read on the Internet from people suffering the same and Buttpaste was suggested. It smells horrible and is a thick white paste that will require washing whatever it touches a couple of times in the laundry. However, it did work for me on some level. I noticed the pain and the itching was calmed and this had some endurance to it. I tried to use creams that had menthol in them but those burned. This cream does not burn. You will have to either wear gloves or wipe your hands off before you wash them when applying.
