    I bought the Tell Me a Story Fairy cards for a longish car trip with my (newly turned) 3- & 1-year-old daughters. My three-year-old is into everything princess and completely flipped out! She begged me to tell new stories over and over... and over again! She or I picked out 5-10 cards, and I either left them random or looked at them and put them into some kind of logical order before making up a story. After a few times she got the hang of it, and I was able to include her in the story telling. "What do you thing will happen next? What is he about to do? Where did the dragon go?" My one-year-old even paid attention, looking at each picture and then holding each card as we finished with it. My oldest has asked to "play with the story cards" several times since our trip, but I'm saving them for an upcoming long airplane trip. The cards store so easily in the very durable spill-proof box. I think we'll be using these for several years to come and hopefully adding some of the other sets into our story repetoire.

    Tons of fun. If you struggle to spend time with your preschooler in ways that don't make you want to pull out your hair (I am so sick of wearing Elsa's crown, right?) then this is a great "game." You hand the child cards, that's it. You can do it random or peek and pick the one you want to give her. Here's how we play: I show her the first card at the same time I say, "Once upon a time there was a....." She supplies the rest. I draw another and say, "Oh no, then what happened?" I keep doing that until she runs out of steam. "Do you want to tell another one?" She usually gets through 2-3, 10 card stories before she says, "That's enough."

    You can make the cards come in a particular order to make the story more coherent, but we like it wild. We love to see what "happens" in her story when she gets them out of order: princess, donkey, and then the message in a bottle, and a cat...

    As a 4th birthday present for my daughter this was excellent. We immediately had a go creating a story and ended up using all the cards as she was so enthused by it. Very good quality cards and box, and very clear pretty artwork.

    My only complaint is that I felt some of the cards were a little repetitive, my daughter did not immediately recognise key features of each card when she saw the same character again and again. I assume this is something that will change as she gets older. Some of the cards seems very specific where a few more 'generic' cards might be better.

    In un mondo in cui gran parte degli stimoli vengono da TV e computer, è necessario riscoprire la bellezza dell'invenzione di storie e della loro narrazione a voce.

    La geniale collana "Tell Me a Story" di eeBoo ha una serie di temi diversi e tutti molto affascinanti e giocosi: Circus Adventures, Robot's Mission, Animal Village, etc. Ognuno può quindi scegliere il tema che più si avvicina all'interesse del bambino.

    Io ho scelto "Fairytale Mix-ups" perchè parla di regine, streghe, fatine, magie e principi: il tema preferito dalle mie figlie.

    Devo dire che la scelta è stata molto azzeccata. E' bello vederle impegnate nell'immaginare scenari sempre diversi e raccontarle con termini sempre più appropriati e proprietà di linguaggio sempre migliore.

    Il set di carte è ottimamente confezionato. Arriva con una protezione in cellophane. La confezione si apre a cassetto, ossia sfilando la parte che contiene il pacco di carte.
    Questo è di ottima qualità, con figure belle e colorate, dai disegni giocosi e personaggi ben caratterizzati. La plastica è rigida ed è davvero difficile piegare e rovinare le carte, se non con un uso evidentemente improprio.

    Ho acquistato questo set di carte (due, per la verità, essendo padre di due bambine gemelle) come aiuto allo sviluppo dell'immaginazione e del linguaggio.
    L'utilità di questo articolo è proprio quello di spingere il bambino a raccontare storie sempre diverse usando carte con diversi personaggi e ambientazioni, cambiandone semplicemente l'ordine.
    In un mondo in cui gran parte degli stimoli vengono da TV e computer, è necessario riscoprire la bellezza dell'invenzione di storie e della loro narrazione a voce.

    La geniale collana "Tell Me a Story" di eeBoo ha una serie di temi diversi e tutti molto affascinanti e giocosi: Circus Adventures, Robot's Mission, Animal Village, etc. Ognuno può quindi scegliere il tema che più si avvicina all'interesse del bambino.

    Io ho scelto "Fairytale Mix-ups" perchè parla di regine, streghe, fatine, magie e principi: il tema preferito dalle mie figlie.

    Devo dire che la scelta è stata molto azzeccata. E' bello vederle impegnate nell'immaginare scenari sempre diversi e raccontarle con termini sempre più appropriati e proprietà di linguaggio sempre migliore.

    Il set di carte è ottimamente confezionato. Arriva con una protezione in cellophane. La confezione si apre a cassetto, ossia sfilando la parte che contiene il pacco di carte.
    Questo è di ottima qualità, con figure belle e colorate, dai disegni giocosi e personaggi ben caratterizzati. La plastica è rigida ed è davvero difficile piegare e rovinare le carte, se non con un uso evidentemente improprio.

    Un'idea davvero fantasiosa che merita di essere regalata a qualsiasi bambino.

    Estoy muy contento con este conjunto de cartas (36) que sirven para contar cuentos a mi hija. Desde el primer momento mostró gran interés, y más cuando le conté la mecánica, que ella debía elegir 5 cartas (sin mirar) y en el cuento saldrían esos 5 elementos.

    Lo he usado además simplemente para ayudarme a mi a inventarme y contarle un cuento (con las cartas que hayan salido) como para que ella misma se invente la historia (tiene solo tiene 2 años y 10 meses e inventamos la historia a medias). Magnífico para fomentar su creatividad

    This has become my 3 1/2 year old’s favourite game. He loves making up stories and has played with these cards non-stop for a week since they arrived. Great quality and fab story combinations. Perfect to fit in his back-pack for trips out post lockdown too.

    Gioco molto carino e adatto a favorire le qualità narrative nel linguaggio dei bambini, oltre che naturalmente a stimolare la fantasia. Ottimo gioco anche da portare in viaggio perché occupa pochissimo spazio e non necessita di collegamenti Internet.
